Gentle for sensitive skin, moisturizes well

This ointment is quite thick and not as easy to squeeze out when the tube is cold. It does spread quite well so you don't need much of it and it has helped a little in improving some of the dry skin patches that my toddler has. It's fragrance free, you get a lot of it in the tube and it doesn't seem to have irritated her sensitive skin at all, so I think it's worth trying if you are looking for something that's like an ointment rather than a cream or lotion. I think it would probably be great as a dry lip product too!

Soothes my psoriasis and rough skin really well. I use it at night on my patches of psoriasis, you don't need much to cover and it rubs in really well. Good barrier protection and soothing.

Good, easy to use but it's just pure petrolatum so expensive in this format.

The balm is quite greasy, so it is best applied at night (make sure you cover the area to prevent marks on the bedding) or at home. You only need a small amount, and despite the greasiness, it does absorb well into your skin and provides almost a protective layer. It's fragrance-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and deemed suitable and safe to use on new-borns. I found it best to apply at night, cover the areas with long-sleeve pjs, socks, or gloves, let the cream work overnight, and then wash off in the morning, as although absorbent, it doesn't fully absorb, and sometimes bits of clothing fluff can stick to it on your skin. I think for the price, it's quite good and handy to have in your cupboard for when your skin gets dry, sore, or eczema flares.

I've noticed with the cold weather and my continued use of hand sanitiser my hands have suffered. The skin between my fingers and on my knuckles have become very dry and sensitive. This balm has helped me revive this skin by locking in moisture in those areas. After cleaning my hands I apply a small amount to the affected areas in particular and I've even put on cotton gloves to keep the ointment on my skin. It's made a difference so I'm really happy. Definitely worth keeping around the home x

Good cream to help sooth dry skin. The cream is similar to Vaseline texture wise which helps keep skin moisturised. A little is needed as it is greasy on the skin. For a small tube it is affordable

quite thick paraffin ointment. its easy to use as it comes in a tube so easy to squeeze small amount as you really dont need more than that. use it overnight as its quite greasy.. doesnt really smell of anything and its not unpleasant. less messy to use than vaseline/other ointments from a big tub as you dont need to stick fingers into the whole jar of the product.
