Perfect size, easy to clean.
I already had a slow cooker, but it was a lot smaller, I wanted to be able to cook a large joint of beef so bought this 6.5l one. Its perfect. Can easily fit a joint of beef in that feeds 10 ppl. Great value for money.

Where have you been all my life?
I've been needing to upsize my slow cooker for the longest time as we are a household of 8 people. I was a little worried about buying this due to some questionable reviews. But I've had it a while now and I can say I'm very happy. It's huge first of all, so that was the main thing I was after. It's just as easy to use and clean as my previous one. And it works great. Some people have said it doesn't heat up well but that has definitely not been the case for me. On high, things cook even faster than expected. On low, just as the recipe calls for in my experience so far. I do agree with other reviewers that the cord is truly tiny. Don't know why the manufacturers did that because it's like ridiculously short. That said, for me it isn't a problem as I only take it out when it's in use and I plug it in right next to where I leave it on the counter. But could be a big down side for some people with less accessible outlets. Anyway, I'm totally happy and wish I'd gotten this big Bertha sooner!

Absolutely perfect
Absolutely Perfect. It's a slow cooker so people saying that its not boiling obviously didn't do their research. Watch some vids! Cooked a beautiful stew today on high. I left it on for 6 hrs. Was cooked when I got home. Looks really classy in the black . I got the 6.5L . I love it. Chicken roast dinner is next. As for Amazon its not fair waiting from morning until 7pm when all it says is out for delivery. Could you please give us rough time estimate, example between 9-12, 2 -5 , 3-6 etc .. I live on a street so I had to wait all day long. Other delivery companies give estimates. The map of where your driver is only shows for the last half hour , sometimes not at all. I couldn't even pop to the shop for fear of missing it. Could ye please do something about it because honestly I can't go through that again. I'll have to buy elsewhere.

Good but not outstanding due to the short power cable
Nice large pot, excellent for a large family or for batch cooking a casserole. Unfortunately it has a disappointingly short power cable if you donโt have a power point immediately next the the slow cooker youโll need an extension cable. Another another 15 to 20cm of cable and it would be much better! Hence the 4*

Lots Of Programming Features That Allow Multiple Cooking Speeds
I got this for my wife for Christmas and she used it right away for dinner cooking her favorite green beans, bacon, and ham recipe. Even though she didnโt have time to peruse the user manual, she got it up and running right away with no fuss. She likes the flex cooking method that lets you start off fast, then reduce to a low temperature for the remainder of the cooking period. Then, when cooling time is up, how it shifts automatically to warming mode. We done small roasts, hams, and combo dishes that turned out very well with lots of blended flavors. I like the fact that it has clips that lock the lid in place and that the rubber seal around the edge makes it easy to pull the lid off instead of fighting the vacuum seal that our older slow cooker created when cooking was done. Good quality unit.

Convenient, functional, solid product.
This is my first slow cooker, and I am so very glad that I seem to have chosen a good product. It cooks exactly as I'd expect. It's is super easy to use. The programmable flex cook for two timed heat settings is super convenient and allows a lot of flexibility. The crock feels strong and solid (and heavy!). I've used it for stews, and fish and chicken dishes. I don't think I could be happier with this purchase. I have no idea how I lived so long without the convenience of a slow cooker! I suppose if I had to say something negative about it, the only thing I could think of is that the display doesn't light up until after it is set and started, which seems counter-intuitive, and does make it slightly difficult to see while setting/programming, especially in a poorly lit kitchen like mine. But that's a very minor annoyance, and not sufficient to affect my rating. Definitely recommend this item.
