What a pointless invention.
Despite the listing not specifying a weight limit, this stand is useless for a normal sized bag. Not fit for purpose so will return. Hoping to help other people who want to purpose this item.

I bought this stand, because I didn't have anywhere to put my Hand bag under my desk at work. It arrived on time, and it was easy to assemble. The price was also good. It is NOT very steady, you have to position your hand bag correctly on the stand-to ensure it would not tip over. If the base was heavier and wider-I think it would be perfect

Cheap and unstable; can’t hold a purse
I hated that the product is actually very cheap, unstable, and unable to stay up when you hang a bag. I basically wasted my money.
