I’m very impressed by these brackets. They are solid, well built and painted very nice. I believe it’s powder coated. It also comes with the nuts and bolts, so as soon as the weather permits we’ll build. This is exactly what I needed.

Box arrived mangled. No instructions in box. Screws were not in a bag just thrown in box. Missing over 15 screws. And a piece broke as we were putting it together. Appeared as if it had been returned. Marks on the metal. Hard to fit 4x4 s in them

All the big parts which are the connectors were wrapped individually but the screws were all thrown in the middle of the box which was weird. I started to build a nice deck area for my girls and placed a pergola with some shade for them. So this did the job and allowed it to be firm and strong into the ground. My spouse and I started to build and we painted it and placed a shade on top and it is very sturdy. Good set and easy to work with.

This is very great priced and with the right tools and knowledge you can build a beautiful pergola and it holds everything in place. I used it to build a pergola and it worked great. All the wood pieces were held perfectly with no issues. None of the pieces wiggled or moved from their place and it was very fairly easy to connect and complete. Definitely high-quality material.

At the time of writing this review we have not yet had the opportunity in time to build the structure we intended this for, as such I may feel differently once we’re actually building with them.I’m very impressed with the strength and seemingly durability of these structure joints. I am optimistic they’ll perform very well for us.

looks to be well made nice kit

I know this is not a shipping review, but do think that I should address the factory packing of this item. All the parts are wrapped in bubble wrap bags, enclosed in a large bag, and placed inside a cardboard box. All the hardware was also tossed in the large bag, and some had spilled out during transit. This, in my opinion, is not a shipping issue, but an issue with packing at the factory. A plastic bag for the hardware is needed.With that said, this is a nice set of brackets for 4" x 4" dimensional lumber. It comes with the corner connectors as well as the floor mounts. I noticed that some paint had chipped off in transit (or packing) so it was handled roughly at some point.The quality is good and it will make building a pergola so much faster.
