This is a nice kit for those who are looking to grow a beard or have started, and want to see if this is something you want to invest in first. This kit can also work well with long beards as well. You really get allot for the price. The face wash lathers well and smells great. You get three beard oils: sweet orange, sandalwood, and unscented; the orange and sandalwood are not overpowering, but the sandalwood scent stays in your beard longer, in a good way. None of the oils have a greasy feeling and your skin absorbs them well and feels clean. The boar brush and wooden comb are good quality, and I have yet to use the scissors or the balm yet, but I’m sure they are good for a starter kit. I’ve decided to grow a beard and making my own beard oil etc, so I might not buy another kit, but if I do, I would buy this again.

I got this kit to care for my new beard. Here are my impressions of the various elements of the kit:+ Beard wash - Love this! You can work up a really creamy lather with it. I just wish the bottle was a little larger.+ Beard oil - The set of three helped soothe my skin and reduced the itching from early-stage beard growth. My favorite of the three oil scents is the Sweet Orange.+ Beard balm - It's unscented and pretty stiff until you work it with the palms of your hands. It's OK.+ Beard brush - I love the size of this brush. It fits nicely in my hand and the bristles aren't overly stiff.+ Beard comb - It has durable teeth. It's large and thick and not really convenient to carry around in a pocket, should you want to do so.+Scissors - They're light and the tips are blunt rather that pointy. Pointy scissors would help me clip single stray hairs with a bit more control.Overall, this is a good starter beard care kit at a good price.

Been using this for a few weeks now and really haven't noticed anything change with my beard. It doesn't seem thicker or more manageable and the same amount of hair falls out when coming now as it always has, honestly maybe even more.The beard soap I've used faithfully now since receiving the product. July 18, it's August 13 as of writing this.The oils,,, I dunno. So the sandalwood is smells HORRIBLE and it got tossed after one use. It's so overbearing and powerful I couldn't stand it and had to wash it out of my beard immediately.The orange smell is ok but it caused me to have an asthma attack each of the 3 times I tried it. While the smell is tolerable I can't do it long term and causes my airways to close up.The last oil has no smell and I've been using it faithfully as well but haven't, as mentioned, noticed any improvement.I have not used the wax at all since I don't really need to sculpt my beard into anything but maybe the next time my daughter decides it needs to be braided she'll get some use out of it.

This stuff isn't working for me. I gave 2 stars because the brush is nice.

Hi, I recently purchased this beard kit for my grandson. It’s absolutely amazing. He loves the products. He just turned 25 and has had other products that he has used in the past he told me this set is the best so far! The scent is nice the brush is soft! We highly recommend this set!! 5 ***** it is!!! It's a nice kit to gift to any man and I think it's worth the price because you do get a lot for the amount you pay. The beard oil scents are okay, but the sandalwood is definitely the best.

I recently ran out of the last 2 oz tin of beard balm that I purchased from someone else and wasn't thrilled with the product, and decided to buy this kit since it was only 5 dollars more expensive than another 2 oz tin of balm and seemingly contained a lot more value.Review by piece:-Beard Wash: Haven't gotten a chance to use, will update in a few days when I finally remember to take it to the shower with me.-Beard Oil: Scentless as advertised, in a very nice container with dropper, and moisturizes beard as much as you would expect the direct application of oil to.-Beard balm: While I don't see it mentioned on the product page, this is also scentless. Balms I've used in the past have had a variety of strong scents (not all of which were strictly pleasant) so this is a new one for me. It seems to work just as well as those so far, without the occurrence of my dog or cats trying to smell my beard.-Scissors: A part of this I had forgotten but was happy to see, these scissors are of a much higher quality than I would've expected from a kit such as this, and seem to be constructed sturdily of good metal.-Beard Comb: Probably the most underwhelming piece of this kit, the comb is thicker than I would like for something that would go into a pocket, and has no cover so is likely to get the oil or balm from your beard to cover the things alongside it in your pocket. While it works just fine, I will still opt to carry my lower profile wooden beard comb I received in an earlier purchase.-Beard Brush: A piece of this kit I was probably most excited for, and was not disappointed. The bristles don't hurt the skin while still being stiff enough to function very well. My beard can be a bit unruly at times but a combination of snipping with the scissors and some circular brushing with the brush, it's looking nice and even.Final verdict before edit: I'm INCREDIBLY pleased with my decision to purchase this kit, and if I don't spontaneously develop chemical burns from the products within a few days I'm probably going to purchase another instance or two of the kit as gifts to my brother and father. In the future I may even be convinced to buy it for myself again because regardless of redundancy of tools, this amount of hair-care product for the price is absurdly good.Edit: I got around to using the beard shampoo and it works well. My beard was soft after use and absorbed the oil well.Unfortunately, me have small brain so I got distracted and put the oil back in the bag without sealing the dropper lid effectively, coating all the items in beard oil and soaking the bag. Everything rinsed off easily for the most part but I had to just throw the bag away. I'm also out of oil now two days after receiving it :/. Be sure to tightly seal the dropper lid after you finish useing it. Still five stars since the lid works fine I just forgot to use it.
