I got these little balls in order to outfit a ball launcher I have for my small dog. They are just the right size and weight to work well in the launcher and they go just as far as the original balls that came with the set.The foam construction of the ball seems very nice and it will bounce and can be thrown with good accuracy. My only trouble is that my pup for whom the ball launcher is for decided she would like to spend time with one of these balls after she caught it.In just a short amount of time she had nibbled a few chunks out of one. She is just a 10 lb dog, but she does have sharp teeth. I would caution anyone else who is thinking of getting these for their small dog to watch them with it. These are not made to be aggressively chewed on by dogs. Otherwise they are great.

I’m the one that didn’t realize they were MINI balls but we ended up just as glad they were mini. Good for batting practice and keeping eye on the ball and good quality. They’re close to the size of golf ball. To be honest, they’re good for when baseball practice moves from the yard to the living room! Ha!

These are ok practice balls if you're just going to toss them around or practice hitting with a pitcher etc.But, they do not work with the Sklz pitching machine. They are too small so they only get launched about half as far or as high as the original Sklz balls.

These are smaller than we expected but could be useful for elementary gift bags or as a novelty item. I get what they were going for regarding hitting practice, but we certainly don't own a 1.6" pitching machine.
