While pricey, you get what you pay for. Beautiful & fast with few flaws. 120hz IPS 1440p-Ultra-Widescreen with G-Sync is a sight to behold in games Colour reproduction is so good my other monitors now cower in shame. Positives: *120Hz is not distinguishable between my 144hz screen next to it - overdrive setting on pixels is very good *3440x1440p IPS <4ms G2G - what more can I say. Beautiful to look at. *Colours are really good, adding a tiny bit of saturation in OSD looks great. *Very little backlight bleed *Build quality very good - (giant) packaging very sturdy. *Using latest Windows 10 fixes a lot of DPI changes with multiple monitors. *Comes with HDMI 2.0 & full-sized DP Cable. Use the DP one though. *G-Sync seems to work really well, no issues or flickering so far. Negatives (and Nitpicks): *Use of a power-brick rather than the PSU being built-in is annoying. *120Hz value not available by default (have to set it in the screen's OSD to become available in Windows) *Some slight backlight falloff around some edges (barely noticeable) *Stand is GIANT and takes up a lot of space. Make sure you have 60cm by 40cm room on your table. Overall, so far, 9.5 out of 10.

clearly i was lucky with the panel lottery as mine had no backlight bleed, however there is a little bit of ips glow in the left corner, not enough to care tho as i just adjust the angle until it dissapears mostly, besides that its a fantastic monitor perfect size for gaming and instantly more immersed than 16:9 ratio monitors, i already came from 1440p and high refresh rate, 120hz is enough, you cant expect to get many more frames than that in games at this resolution, only issue i have however with the monitor is that the screen is very close to you and the stand is quite big so i cant push it back any further on my desk and the monitor is a little close. Colours on this monitor are pretty darn good, installed the icc profile for this monitor and calibrated it and despite this monitor being 8bit + frc ( simulating 10bit ) the colours are very realistic and what i would expect from an ips panel, overall very very impressed with this monitor and getting a £310 saving from black friday deal was what made me get this

Perfect for ultrawide gaming, watching movies and Windows multitasking. G-sync works great in games. Little bit of IPS glow on the left side. OC to 120 Hz without problems.

I have been using the monitor for over a week now. It is superb. It may be that Acer has sorted it's Quality Check procedures as my unit is excellent with no faults at all. Upgraded from a 1440p 144Hz 27" the extra width really does add a new element to gaming. The colour reproduction is okay for an IPS. It's not as much as a leap as I was hoping however I have yet to run a longer setup with my Spyder Express and DisplayCal. If you are deciding between this and the Dell I would recommend this monitor. The stand isn't as pretty, and the warranty not as good, but you could have this by the end of the week.

Have has the monitor for over a month now and what can I say one of the best decisions I made haha :) Awesome monitor very little backlight bleed, colours are really nice, menu system is easy to use and most of all games look amazing. Also movies look really good as well, but please be aware Netflix, Google, Amazon and probably others do not stream their movies in superwide format the aspect ratio they use is hard coded and that sucks. So if you are planning on getting this for use with those services I would not bother.

I bought this monitor for 4k video editing predominantly and I must say, it’s wonderful. The colours are very accurate the picture extremely sharp. I love how I become absorbed in the editing with the curvature and have additional room on the 34 inch display to have multiple tabs open, amazing for screen space management. I was not the built in speakers to be as great quality as the are. I was originally going to add a sound bar and subwoofer to my set up ( as I love to listen to music whilst editing ) but the speakers are more than adequate and punchy. I’ll say it again, definitely the best purchase of the year, and I’ve bought a lot of stuff this year

Bright, sharp display that was easily calibrated (with my Spyder5 Pro device) and has all the working space I need thanks to the high resolution. Yet to play any games on it to test out the GSync feature but that was one of the least important aspects. Resolution and image quality were the most important.

I bought this a year ago (a black friday deal @£699) The monitor still goes for £900 which is crazy, I have upgraded to an lg 34gn850 nano ips model, the refresh rate and response time are far superior and the picture quality difference is quite large. This looks the part but doesnt keep up with any ips panel from the last couple of years. The newer model of this is called the X34GS and would be a better choice although it doesnt have the nvidia gsync module but is compatible (the module in the x34p I am led to believe is the older version) Tldr: dont buy this for £900 get either the x34gs or LG 34gn850. If its cheap enough (£400ish) this would be a great budget choice but at its current price its terribly, terribly overpriced and far behind the competition.

Premetto che me l’ero messa via, certo che avrei dovuto accettare di convivere con il problema dei bleeding sugli angoli e sperare nella dea della fortuna che mi facesse arrivare un monitor con poco bleeding possibile..beh mi è arrivato perfetto,0 bleeding! Nel video si vede il rosso del neon ma vi assicuro che è totalmente privo di bleeding anche sotto!Per chi ha trovato o troverà questo tipo di problema,fatevelo sostituire anche più volte,perché per i soldi che spendete o che avete speso,il monitor deve essere perfetto! Per il resto,monitor arrivato in un giorno,splendidi colori,120hz funzionanti (testato con ufo test) e resto come da caratteristiche! Buona fortuna ragazzi ;)

Allgemein: Mein Monitor hat das Produktionsdatum März 2019 (bestellt Juni 2019) und war auch original versiegelt mit Acer-Klebeband. Das Gerät fällt auf meinem Schreibtisch (150 cm breit und 75 cm tief) insgesamt kompakt aus. Ich habe nicht den Eindruck, dass der Monitor zu groß ist. Der Standfuß ist stabil und durch die Gummipads rutscht er auch nicht. Er eignet sich auch als Tastaturablage zum Schreiben. Des Weiteren hat der Standfuß hinten zwei Griffe, jeweils oben und unten, sodass man den Monitor bequem greifen und verschieben kann. Der Standfuß erlaubt eine vielseitige Verstellung des Bildschirms nach links, rechts, oben und unten, sowie die Neigung. Pivot hat er nicht, was bei dieser Art Monitor ohnehin keinen Sinn macht. Auch sonst ist das Gerät gut durchdacht. Hinten am Standfuß können die Kopfhörer auf der mitgelieferten Halterung abgelegt werden. Das OSD ist durch den Joystick und die vier Bedienknöpfe intuitiv bedienbar. Die LED-Beleuchtung strahlt nicht die Wand an, wie bei diversen Konkurrenzprodukten, sondern nach unten auf den Schreibtisch, was ich persönlich sinnvoller finde. Der Leuchteffekt ist so intensiver und nachts lassen sich insbesondere die weißen LEDs zusätzlich zur Orientierung auf dem Schreibtisch nutzen. Das Design mit sehr dünnem Plastikrahmen und stattdessen einem hinter der Entspieglung versteckten nicht nutzbaren Bereich gefällt mir sehr gut. Die USB-Anschlüsse am Monitor sind sehr praktisch und auch gut platziert. Die Videoanschlüsse (ich nutze DisplayPort) und das Stromkabel lassen sich hinter einer Klappe verstecken. Mich stört es auch nicht, dass jeweils nur ein DisplayPort und HDMI-Anschluss vorhanden ist. Ich nutze sowieso immer nur einen Videoanschluss. Bildqualität: Zu allererst sollte man sich klar werden darüber, wofür man den Monitor benötigt. Ich persönlich wollte einen Allrounder, der insbesondere auch zum Spielen geeignet ist. Diesen Zweck erfüllt der Monitor zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit. Es ist der erste Flachbildschirm für PC, den ich nicht zurücksenden musste. Insbesondere achte ich darauf, dass das Backlight-Bleeding bei IPS-Panels im erträglichen Rahmen liegt. Mein Acer X34P hat nur gering ausgeprägtes Backlight-Bleeding in den Ecken, was so gut wie kaum auffällt. Auch Pixelfehler, Staubeinschlüsse oder anderweitige Macken konnte ich bis dato nicht entdecken. Nicht so gut gefallen mir ein leichter Vignetting-Effekt zu den Rändern hin, sowie ein leichter Gelbstich im rechten Viertel des Bildschirms. Vignetting bedeutet, dass die Ränder des Monitors leicht dunkler sind, als der Rest. Dieser Effekt ist jedoch im Alltag vernachlässigbar, insbesondere beim Spielen, wo die Action sich in der Bildmitte abspielt. Der leichte Gelbstich ist bauartbedingt bei vielen IPS-Curved-Modellen vorhanden. Der Gelbstich fällt ohnehin nur auf hellem Grund wie z.B. bei Internetseiten oder Textverarbeitung auf. Gaming: Hier brilliert der Acer X34P. Getestet habe ich Assetto Corsa, DiRT Rally, Arma 3, DOOM, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Dark Souls 3. Außer Dark Souls 3 (Balken links und rechts bei 3440 x 1440) unterstützen alle genannten Spiele sowohl die Auflösung 3440 x 1440, als auch das 21:9 Format des Bildschirms. Was soll ich sagen, WOW. Ich hatte vorher einen 27 Zoll Monitor, und der Unterschied ist gewaltig. Die Curved-Oberfläche verleiht dem Game noch mehr Tiefe und der Blickwinkel ist vor allem bei Rennspielen ein großer Vorteil. NVIDIA GSync funktioniert mit meiner ASUS RTX 2080 einwandfrei und die 120Hz Bildwiederholfrequenz machen insbesondere Rennspiele und Shooter noch ein Quäntchen flüssiger. Kinofilme (i.d.R. im 21:9-Format) können ohne Balken geschaut werden. Ein Wermutstropfen hierbei ist, dass der Monitor keine 4K-Auflösung bietet. Bildbearbeitung: Der Monitor ist nicht zur professionellen Bildbearbeitung geeignet. Das Vignetting, sowie die Inhomogenität (Gelbstich) deklassieren den Monitor zur Bildbearbeitung. Durch die Curved-Oberfläche bekommt man zudem keine gerade Linie hin und der Eindruck von Fotografien wird verzerrt. Lautsprecher: Ich nutze die eingebauten Lautsprecher nicht. Sie funktionieren jedenfalls über DisplayPort ohne Probleme. Der Ton ist entsprechend flach und hat wenig Bass. Vergleich mit Konkurrenzprodukten: Zur Auswahl habe ich den Viewsonic XG350R-C hergenommen. Dieser Monitor hat aber einen zu dicken Rahmen, ein MVA-Panel und nur 1000 Hz. Dafür, dass es ein neuer Monitor von 2019 ist, finde ich, ist das eine ziemlich schwache Leistung. Also fiel der Monitor weg. Der LG 34GK950G bietet auch nicht mehr als der Acer X34P (ebenfalls LG-Panel), ist aber teurer und hat meiner Meinung nach ein schlechteres Design. Der Dell Alienware AW3418DW hat identische Spezifikationen wie der Acer X34P und ebenfalls ein ansprechendes Design, sowie gut platzierte LEDs. Das integrierte Netzteil beim Dell Alienware ist ein Vorteil gegenüber dem Acer X34P, so sieht es auf dem Boden aufgeräumter aus. Letztendlich war der Acer aber knapp 200 € günstiger und somit habe ich dieses Manko akzeptiert. Sonstiges: Der Monitor kommt bereits fertig montiert. Er muss nur noch aus der sehr guten Verpackung ausgepackt und angeschlossen werden. Fazit: Für mich immer noch einer der besten Gaming-Monitore, obwohl er schon einige Zeit auf dem Markt ist. PS: Bald soll der LG 38GL950G auf den Markt kommen mit bis zu 175 Hz Bildwiederholfrequenz, HDR 400 und einer Auflösung von 3840 x 1600 Bildpunkten. Es könnte sich durchaus lohnen, bis zum Release dieses Bildschirms zu warten. Mir sind 38 Zoll dann aber schon zu groß.

Impresionante monitor con sus limitaciones tb.... puede dar 120hz pero viene preconfigurado a 100hz ( se hace overclocking desde su menú para llegar a los 120hz ) tiene altavoz, puerto de expansión usb y los acabados son premium ( normal es un monitor caro ) Cero píxeles muertos, colores vivos y respuesta aceptable para ser tecnología ips. Cero fugas de luz ( habré teñido suerte ) Muy muy contento!!! Recomiendo su compra pero si, el precio es elevado.

Très bel écran, reconnu immédiatement par le pc, et c'est bien normal compte tenu du fait qu'il s'agit d'un acer Predator, donc forcément compatible. L'image est fantastique et l'impression d'immersion due à la courbure de l'écran est saisissante. La carte graphique permet d'ajuster le taux à 100hz et l'overclock à 120hz se fait sur l'écran lui-même.

Habe sie fast alle getestet, Alienware, Asus Rog, usw, die üblichen verdächtigen in der Premiumriege, in dieser Preisklasse halt. Ich kann nur sagen, mit Abstand, wirklich mit Abstand ist dieses Modell, Acer Predator x34p, das Nonplusultra! - die 10 Bit (8Bit+FRC) stellt er phänomenal dar - 100 Hz, die hochtaktbar sind auf 120 Hz, die auch einwandfrei funktionieren - in Verbindung mit G-Sync ein Traum, ohne Input-Lag oder tearing - das Frameless Design sieht sehr schick aus - LED Farben leuchten nach unten und nicht nach hinten, man kann verschiedene Modis wählen - Alles fühlt sich extrem wertig an und sieht auch sehr hochwertig aus Nur leichtes Backlight-Bleeding kann man bemängeln, minimal in den Ecken, aber trotzdem dürfte es in dieser Preisklasse nicht sein, aber nicht annähernd so störend wie bei den anderen Premium Modellen. Ich kann nur sagen, wer das Geld hat und sich sowas leisten will oder kann - ZUGREIFEN! Denn keinst der anderen Geräte hat diese Bildwiedergabe. Ich habe mich dafür entschieden, weil es noch keine ausgereiften 4K Modelle gibt, die sind immer nur mit 60 Hz und für meine Belange (Games-Shooter) nicht ausreichend. Die 4K Modelle, die jetzt so langsam rauskommen, mit 120 Hz und mehr, sind unbezahlbar. Man bräuchte erstmal den Monitor, aktuell sind es zwei Acer Predator und Asus Rog, liegen so ca bei 2500€. Das reicht aber noch nicht, denn ihr braucht auch die nötige Grafikkarte dafür, die auch so ca. bei 1500€ liegt und bei der Summe ist es irsinn, da diese Systeme noch zu neu sind, dementsprechend zu unausgereift dazu. Für mich ist dieser Monitor, mit meiner nVidia GTX 1080 der perfekte SweetSpot, wo ich bei einem Top Bild meine 120 Hz erreiche (natürlich mit abstrichen) und warte lieber, wenn ich mein Rechner sowieso in 1-2 Jahren tausche, wo dann alles billiger und ausgereifter ist. Ich kann diesen Monitor wärmstes weiter empfehlen, ob gaming oder arbeiten, unschlagbar in dieser Konstellation gegenüber seinen Konkurrenten. Dieser Monitor kann einfach alles, fast ohne Negativpunkte! Als Tipp, schaut öfter mal bei dem Produkt rein bei Amazon, da gibts diesen Monitor bei Warehouse Deals zwischen 720€ und 850€ und da ist meisten nur der Karton leicht ramponiert und ganz leichte Kratzer am Fus oder so. Lohnt sich. Wenn ihr mit dem Preis leben könnt - ABSOLUTE KAUFEMPEFEHLUNG!
