Works great
I've used a few different dry-box storage options, and this one has worked the best for me for longer term storage. I've used about 10 or more bags already and only one hasn't held a vacuum very well. All of the others have stayed very tight for several weeks and appear that they will last for a long time. The bags are a bit tight getting the spools of filament in them. Don't expect to get a large spool in them, but the average size ones do fit. The vacuum pump works very well and will bend the filament spool sides in on partial rolls if you let it. It pulls a much higher vacuum than any of the other pumps I've used before and it gets a great seal on the bag when pumping. The only thing I have to do is remember to raise the bag a bit on a flat object where the pump seals so it will stay flat when getting pulled in tight. I'll definitely be buying this again if I ever need more bags. But since they are reusable, it may be a while before I need more.

easy and works well
I did not have high expectations for this when I bought it. I have been pleasantly surprised. This system works amazingly well. I add a small hygrometer to my sealed bags of filament. Typical in-bag humidity with a roll of filament runs around 20-25%. The bags last for a few (roughly 5-10) re-uses. The little plastic clip to help seal the bag is not as silly as it seems. the bags are double sealed and the little plastic sealer clip helps line things up nicely. The electric vacuum pump is a little slow, but really not too bad considering how much vacuum it creates. It takes me about 10-20 seconds to seal up a bag. Note to OVV3D: Please make a clear plastic box version. If you have several colors of filament (who doesn't) the bags can be a little tricky to stack on a shelf.

Doesn't stay sealed
I've had these for a while now and I'm disappointed. The air pump seems to work fine, and I was pleased at first. Put my filament in the bags, sucked out the air, and put them on the shelf. However, I'm finding that about 50% of the time when I go to get a filament off the shelf, it's no longer vacuum sealed as the bag has inflated and there's are inside. I'm not sure where the actual failure point is, as it appears the air is leaking in slowly. It could be the zipper, because it is very hard to close it. It doesn't seem to lineup quite right. I go back and forth over the zipper several times to make sure its sealed as best as I can. It could also be the air valve that is failing. Whatever the issue is, it's kind of a pointless product if it can't actually stay sealed.

Not very pleased so far
They are not very durable, I've only used 2 so far and besides being very thin both would not hold vacuum. Hope the rest will because out of the return window. If they get better I'll up the rating, if not I'll reduce it.

Works great
I ought this to store partial rolls of filament. Although I live in a fairly dry area, I have had some spools unusable when stored for a period of time. I bought the kit with the electric vacuum pump and I must say it works great. I have resealed over a dozen spools and had no problems pulling a vacuum in these bags that looks the same as the bags the spools were shipped in when new. So far after a few months, I haven't had any lose their seal. The vacuum pump is battery operated and is rechargeable. This kit comes with the pump, bags of desiccant, clips to assist in closing and sealing the bags and bags. All in all it's a pretty decent value. It works well, is reliable and if needed I will buy again.

Fiddly. Does work but be prepared for some amount of frustration and learning.
If I could select 3.5 stars for this review I would. The bags are the right size for standard 1KG rolls of filament. The pump - when it seals - does have good suction. The bags securely close and once the pump removes the right amount of air from them the rolls of filament will fit back into their boxes. My issue is with the pump. It's super fiddly to get it to open the one way valve and start removing air. I've started laying the rolls of filament flat on a table and then supporting the corner with a harbor freight digital caliper case to keep it at a neutral height then placing the pump on the valve and starting the process. Generally takes a fair amount of fiddling with the position of the pump to get it to start extracting air. Whether this is due to a strong one way valve, position of the bag, the valve being sucked against the opposite of the bag or some other factor I'm not sure. I will take a roll up to the Foodsaver vacuum sealer we have and try it's extendable pump to see if it has the same problem. The Foodsaver likely has a stronger pump and if it can consistently remove the air from the bag then I'll blame the pump or the sealing mechanism of the pump. If not then I'll assume the one way valve is stronger than the pump... I've sealed a few rolls and left one unboxed on the shelf to check on over the coming days and weeks to see if the valve leaks. I think the idea is sound but some part of the execution of it is lacking.

best bags, best vacuum
This is my absolute favorite brand of bags, as they work consistently, they last for tons of uses before the seal wears out. This vacuum is superior to all of the other types and brands that I've used. I will not buy any other brand of bags for my filament.

Overpriced starter kit in a flawed product category
UPDATE: After two months of ownership and hobbyist use, the vacuum pump is now completely dead. It won't take a charge. The bags are a commodity item available from other sellers for less money, and the desiccant bags, lacking indicator material, aren't all that useful. Since the vacuum pump is really the thing that differentiates the OVV3D product from others, I can't recommend this product any longer. First, I haven't found a five-star filament bag; they've all got flaws. But I like these better than the Sunlu-style bags, which work once or twice if you're lucky. This kit bundles a generic vacuum bag originally made for sous-vide cooking with some basic silica-gel packets, a handful of clips to aid in sealing the bag, and a rechargeable vacuum pump. The bags are a commodity item. Frankly, you can get them cheaper from other vendors, and I recommend that you do for refills. They have about a 95% success rate: about one in 20 will fail to seal from the start. They seem to survive multiple open/seal cycles without losing seal pretty well. They fit most 1kg cardboard filament spools well, but they're a little small for many plastic spools. A Bambu Lab spool is about the comfortable limit. You CAN shoehorn an Atomic Filament spool into the bag, but you'll have difficulty getting the vacuum pump on the right spot. (Something about an inch and a half tall to elevate the vacuum port helps.) The clips help you make a good seal on the double-zipper. They're not part of the bag, and many alternative bag sources don't include them. Sadly, OVV3D doesn't include as many clips as bags, so you'll have to keep track of where you put them instead of just installing one per bag. The vacuum pump works. I don't know how long it will work; from day one, it made an overheated-motor smell, and after a month it's starting to struggle sometimes. It recharges via USB Micro-B; a VERY short cable is included, but no charger. There's room for improvement with the pump. The way these bags work, you have to have the bag on a flat smooth surface and press the pump firmly onto the vacuum port and hold it there while it evacuates the bag. There can't be any wrinkles under the vacuum port. That's where large spools get tricky. If these bags had an extra inch in each dimension, they'd work a lot better. The included silica gel packets seem to work, but they're the basic disposable kind with no indicator to tell you how used up they are. For filament storage, you'll probably want to buy good indicator-type dessicant bags instead. So you're buying this kit for the sealing clips and the vacuum pump. Still, it's the best kit I've tried so far. Just DON'T get the version with the manual pump. It takes FOREVER to work due to its small size, and it's incredibly awkward to hold in place. That version's totally not worth it.
