My wife purchased this and wrapped some wool on it after clamping it to a table. I'd previously used it to attempt to contact alien radio signals but to no avail. Alas, now it sits there attached to the kitchan table doing a brilliant job with yarn.Whilst I await aliens!

I like the wood better than the thin metal or plastic options. I've found it to be sturdy and easy to take down and put up.

Love the product perfect for balling yarn. Nice natural wood finish. A bit fiddly getting the skein on but with a few goes managing now with ease. Would recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  This thing is brilliant. I've avoided yarn in skeins because I've always got in a terrible mess with them. I decided to give a yarn swift a go. What a fab item. Plonk the loop of yarn on, tighten it up a little bit and get winding. Such fun and very satisfying. I've done 6 skeins in no time and not a second of drama. I'd definitely recommend getting one of these.
