200 Thread Count 100% Egyptian Cotton Fitted Sheet (Super King, Grey)

I washed them but they were still very hard to the touch so I took a small strip from the inside seam and did a burning test. The fabric is not made of 100% cotton at all. During the test there was black smoke, which is distinctive for synthetics, and the residue contained quite a lot of hard plastic bits. A cotton made product would leave just some grey ash. There is no indication where the pillowcases and the bed sheet were made.I am very disappointed that Amazon allows such an obviously misleading product description.

I ordered the king size in grey. I always wash new sheets twice, after two washes they still feel rough, think there is more cotton on a cotton bud than in this fitted sheet, feels more like polyester. Might get a bit of static if you turn over too quickly in bed! It's like laying on very fine sandpiper. They look too shiny for 200 thread cotton and definitely don't feel like it. I gave just one star as I liked the grey colour.

Even after one wash they were rough and bobbly. I only use them as under sheets now, and they haven't softened over time. My daughter can't sleep on them and I don't blame her. Rubbish. Avoid.

What they are saying is not true - No way is this 200 Thread Count Cotton the material is awful, it is scratchy and only good for dust sheet - really bad material - will not buy sheets/pillow cases from Amazon ever again!

Purchase based on value for money and overall positive reviews. Tried to fit to a standard double mattress and it wouldn't fit. The length was just about correct, but the width was about 10cm too short. 100% Egyptian cotton? I seriously doubt it. Had a very cheap acrylic feel to it. 200 thread count? I didn't count the threads, but compared to other sheets we have, it was very thin. Should have read the reviews in depth, as there's actually loads of reviews that seem to say what I found out as negatives. Just hope you are reading this before buying, and not after. Save yourself the time and bother, and avoid this product. Item being returned, as not fit for purpose.

I ordered this sheet along with matching pillowcases. On arrival i washed and dried them before putting on my bed. Sadly i didnt check the quality of the sheet as the pillow cases were so good. There is little elastic on the sheet and what there is, is so slack you have no chance of it staying on the bed and the stitching is in white! Why have white stitching on navy blue fabric!! All its good for is a dust sheet

I thought we were getting a bargain. It is not 100% Egyptian cotton. It is really stiff and rough. I always wash nee bedding and even after washing it is very rough. All my bedding is Egyptian cotton so I can tell the difference.

Bought this double fitted sheet in red. Washed it 1st time and turned all of the other washing in the machine pink! Luckily I only put in towels and one tshirt. But beware when you wash it the first few times unless you're happy with a bright pink clothing collection.Its not very soft but not the scratchiest sheet i've bought.
