Amazing and very smart looking watch
Loving my Stainless Steel Apple Watch. It’s my third watch from Apple, but the other two were the standard ones. This one looks much smarter and elegant, which is great for all occasions- exercise and going out. I have the gold colour case and bracelet, which is lovely pale yellow - very subtle. All functions work very well and battery holds between 36 and 48 hours with „always on” display, which is much better than my previous standard 6 series. An expensive gadget, but you get what you pay for.

I'm a Beginner with Apple Stuff and This was so Worth it
Like I said, this is my first dip into Apple and my second smart watch (my FitBit broke so I thought I'd see what all the hype was about). And my first impression is "Woaw!" First off, it is extremely intuitive, with the double finger tap motion controls, which basically means you can waft your fingers around and like a magic wand make calls, play/pause music etc. Brilliant. Secondly, it is so bright (I know this sounds menial but..). I have rubbish eyesight and everything seems dark to me but this watch is so clear and the battery is really good even at the brightest setting (lasting a full 24 hours). Most of the other functions are the standard bells and whistles but the Apple watch just seems to be able to predict what you want just before you need it and makes it easy to action. The price is expensive and I think this is not something of a necessity as a lot of cheaper brands can perform the same basic functions, but if you have the money and want to treat yourself (or maybe have a workplace scheme that will pay for a wellbeing device...) then I would highly recommend it.

Smart, Stylish but Expensive
Last year I switched my phone back from Samsung to Apple. I previously owned a Galaxy Watch 4 and was interested in buying a Huawei GT 3 Pro but ended up switching before then.I have always liked the fact that the Galaxy and Huawei watches look like a traditional watch but the Apple Watch looked too rectangular and cheap for my liking, despite being expensive.I like my smart watches to look like watches so when I found you could get a Series 9 Apple Watch with a Gold Milanese loop I decided it was time (no pun intended!) to give it a go.Initially it took me some time to set the watch up and pair it and, having a cellular version, it was a bit of a hassle trying to move my eSIM across from my old watch.Once set up, however, I was really impressed with the screen and the variety of apps, and the hand gestures to scroll through screens is a genuinely useful feature.I use my watch regularly for tracking my sleep, steps, heart rate, and blood oxygen. It’s comfortable to wear and it does a fairly good job of monitoring my health, even if I did get a bit of a scare once as it said my heart rate was too high (turns out it was due to having dental treatment earlier that day).I also use my watch for unlocking my car, for following directions discretely without looking like a tourist, and for making and receiving calls. The sound quality is decent and it’s easy to use - I definitely don’t miss my Android Smart Watches as much as I was expecting and have to say the Apple ecosystem is very slick.Battery life could be better - compared to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, I find myself having to charge it a lot more frequently although it usually lasts a whole day. When it comes to the screen and the build of the watch, it is very durable and doesn’t scratch nearly as easy as when I used to have a Series 3 watch some time ago.I have just started exploring some of the iOS18 features - time will tell if this will add anything to the experience but I have found that the battery tends to drain even more quickly so far so it might be best not to update just yet.Overall, this is a quality watch and probably the best choice for Apple users. It does more than I need it to and I’ve had lots of people commenting on how ‘flashy’ it looks. Having said that, I don’t think it’s worth paying more for the cellular version if you have your phone with you most of the time. I would recommend the stainless steel version over aluminum, however, as it’s very strong and made to last.If you don’t need the double tap gestures or a brighter screen, and aren’t worried about having one year less of support or the latest features from Apple, then you may be able to pick up the Series 8 for a decent price. But if you want the latest tech and future compatibility and don’t mind paying for quality then this is a slick and solid device that I fully recommend.

Similar to Apple Watch 8
The size is as described and quality is of usual Apple standard and seems to keep power for a full 24 hours. I paid less than the series 8 watch so better value
