Leitz Ergo Cosy Active Padded seat

EDIT 9/29/25: I've left the original review below for posterity, but as of September 2025 I cannot recommend purchasing this specific item. Don't give up on the Leitz wobble stool - they've released an updated version that fixes the critical design flaw that makes this stool necessary to avoid. The updated version only appears in the navy color (although the old flawed versions were also made in the same color). So, make sure that the version you're buying has the padding STAPLED to the underside of the seat (and not using a drawstring). Also for some reason my review says I purchased Velvet Gray. This is not the case, I bought the yellow version. When I initially purchased this stool, it worked great. I rarely used it, but when I did, it was perfect. After about the 12th time having sat in it, 8 months after purchasing, I noticed that the seat padding had become somewhat loose and had begun riding up the side of the seat. No matter how much I re-tightened it, I couldn't get the seat to stay centered and correctly attached. There are other reviews mentioning this issue. Leitz is apparently fully aware of this major flaw, because when I contacted them and described the issue to them, they quickly sent me a brand new updated version, for free.. so, no complaints as far as Leitz's customer service. But, do not buy THIS particular stool - buy the (cheaper) update version that has the padding stapled to the underside of the seat. I'm keeping my review at 5 stars because Leitz will take care of you if you do indeed make the mistake of buying this version of the stool. === ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW === I see this item is very popular yet there are no USA reviews, probably due to the high price. However, I was eager to pay over $100 in shipping for the stool as I knew it was high quality. Look, if you need a wobble stool, go with Leitz on this one. The bright yellow color is cheerful and pairs well with my otherwise all-black desk/PC setup. The height adjustment has a great range that would work for anyone. Don't cheap out on a generic stool.

the weight causes the adjustable holes to warp therefore prevents the stool from being adjusted. Also for me, it was uncomfortable to sit on for prolonged time (the seat cushion texture is not ideal)
