Flying Insect Trap

These work great for catching unwanted bugs around the house. I have been usi g these over the last year, besides winter, gnats, flies, moths & mosquitoes are easily attracted. This is great for bugs that get in unintentionally. I keep one plugged in near our back door to help catch the pets. The catcher is aticky and easy to install. It just pops into place, but you do have to be careful as it is easy to knock out of the light due to the catcher just being placed in. Once it is plugged in, it is generally not a concern as long as it is not messed with often. The catchers are easy to replace, but do not need replaced too frequently. These are so nice to have on hand in the Spring and Summer to keep the house bug free.

Purchased it because we were having a cookout/pool party and I was concerned about flying insects getting in the house that evening. Generally we don't have issues with bugs inside the house so I did not have insects caught on the adhesive which was not a big deal but it was nice that I also didn't have anyrhing flying around inside the house, so that's not to say that the product doesn't work. I do love the light that it emits and again I don't have anything flying around in the house so the unit in all fairness hasn't had an opportunity to trap anything because there's nothing to catch. Very comfortable with my purchase and would not have a problem buying again if needed.

Probably should’ve read all the reviews first. This has been plugged in now for 11 days! Has not caught a thing. Gnats and flies creep in from the back door when the kids go out to play. I’ve been trying to catch this one fly that recently got in 2 days ago, still nothing! It is also plugged near the trashcan! Update: I ordered a replacement the replacement has definitely been working. Maybe the first was defective. It is working perfectly. I uploaded a pic for the replacement and I am now changing my 1 start to 4.

I bought one of these, perhaps expecting to return it because of the reviews...but it worked wonderfully! I have always been a fan of the Wondercide products and this did a great job catching the gnats that were coming in at night. We try to keep the windows open for air flow, but the darn gnats we get this time of year are attracted to all the light indoors and they make it through the screen. The light and the sticky card did the trick. I will say - this is made with good quality plastic, but it is item on the pricey side. I would reasonably pay $9-$12 for this product, but $18 seems a bit too high. Also, I think the cartridge starter box should come with two cards, not just one. And the refill card pack is a bit expensive, even for the large pack. They would do well to find a better price point.

I read other reviews and decided to purchase; not what I expected; did not attract fruit flies and I plugged in next to fruit bowel. Caught 4 fruit flies in 1 week.

I love everything by this company and this trap is no exception. I live along the Mississippi River, ride horses, and have a small dog that attracts ticks like bees to honey. We have ALOT of flying insects here, and year after year, nothing really beats both the protection and low toxicity of their products.

Wow it’s worked great

The “catcher” has only been plugged in for 4 days but it’s already caught stuff that was probably biting me at night. No new bites since it’s been plugged in. I put it in master bedroom, by door, about 15 feet from bed. I was tired of waking up to new bites on my shoulders, chest, arms and legs when I’m not under covers. Of course my husband gets zero bites. I didn’t want to use chemicals or hear zapping. By having it at door, my hope is that if the critters come down the hallway, they stop at this catcher (which is also a good night light) and not come towards bed. I put 4 stars as I was hoping to catch more, but definitely working so far (see pic)
