What's not to love and yes you can cut off the ads for FREE
For Amazon Prime members, this is a really good deal. And YES, you can disable the Amazon ads. I went from a LG K7 to this LG Q6. The Q6 seems a lot faster then the K7. First thing I did was charge up the battery on the Q6, and while it was charging transferred all the K7 phone data to the internal micro sd card. Then pulled out the T-Mobile sim card and then the Micro sd card. After the Q6 charged to 100% (within an hour) I then inserted both the T-Mobile sim card and the Micro sd card into the Q6. Powered the Q6 up and it came to life. Under <General>then to <Apps> in config settings, go to Amazon apps and just tick the box to disable the ads. Guess what? No Amazon ads. Great isn't it. Bluetooth worked perfect, wifi calls (T-Mobile only) also perfect. WiFi connected very quickly. Calls are very clear, Telephone tone is loud enough to hear it. With T-Mobile (I already had an T-Mobile account and sim card) this phone works great, no problems. If you're a gamer, why would you play games on a cell phone? So I would not recommend for gaming. The only thing I don't really care for is that the battery is non removable and cannot be replaced. But these new phones usually last for about two years average life span. I think the battery will last that long. New tech moves at the speed of light these days, so better to get a new one every two years. This LG Q6 does everything I want it to do and more for what I use it for. It hooked (Bluetooth) up to my Samsung soundbar to use Amazon music, hooked up to my car (Bluetooth) to use the Amazon Music app through my car radio. Makes calls, receives texts, takes really good pictures. Amazon had a sale and I got this lower then the current asking price, and I'm very happy and impressed with it. If you're an ATT customer, you may want to investigate first before buying. People are complaining that ATT are giving them a hard time to activate it. But with T-Mobile it went smooth with no problems. Seamless!

Buyer Beware.
Phone appears to be refurbished or returned and not in fact new -fingerprints under screen protectors and a IMEI identification sticker on the device itself rather than on the protectorEarbuds were not included (checked two unboxing videos to verify my suspicions as the box was abnormally taped shut.)Still no QI, but at least this model supports NFC.The missing earbuds wouldn't bother me but that plus the odd sticker and tape leads me to believe this device *was not* new as listed.Update: After using this for a month Plus I've noticed HORRIBLE signal on US AT&T coverage - I literally average 2 bars in my home when the tower is visible outside my window. Driving on major interstates that give my wife's Moto phone full bars - I'm showing 2 (or less)I'm not sure what the back is... it seems like badly painted light grade metal - but even though I've had it in a protective case all the time it's scratched to heck.

Solid build, nice fingerprint reader, good battery life
This is my first Android phone after ten years of Windows smartphones. I like the Windows smartphone OS a lot better than Android, but it's not viable anymore. So I got this phone to replace my old Windows Phone. It's from Nokia, who made several of my Lumia Windows phones.I got a launcher app that looks a lot like Windows Phone (SquareHome, if you're interested), so the transition hasn't been too bad. The hardware is nice. Feels solid, lasts about four days on a charge, nice bright screen, and good touch experience. The nicest surprise was the fingerprint reader for activation - no more entering numbers on the screen to unlock. It was easy to program and works quickly. It replaces the on switch for routine use - just put the finger to the sensor (on the back of the phone beneath the camera) and you're ready to use the phone. It was easy to program in the fingerprint too.I find Android to be far less intuitive and harder to navigate that Windows Phone, but I won't ding this phone for that. Basically, if you are looking for a solid, mid-priced, reliable, snappy performing phone, this definitely ought to be on your short list.

Could be a basic android phone at a budget.
Pros:Slim size, lightweightCheapReasonably fastVery good display, shows pictures in very vibrant colors.Rear Camera quality was reasonable, Good colorful pictures.Cons:LG's home screen and apps are nothing when compared to the pure android experience. No Android 8.0 update yet.Battery life is averageDisplay consumes too much power, probably for the backlightLoudspeaker is too low volume, and crappy sound quality with loudspeaker.Voice calls quality was also not great when I tried. Was not getting 4G LTE most of the time when I tried. My moto G5 plus and old Nexus 6 gets 4G LTE all the time, while this phone was showing either 4G or 3G, and rarely showing 4G LTE.The design of the phone is too thin, that it makes is hard to connect most USB cables when used with a protective cover. The opening for the USB connection in the cover was preventing a proper connection with cheaper micro USB cables. Good news is that the one that came with the charger worked fine, but I always keep extra cables at work and in car, which did not work for me.Having the Volume buttons on one side and the power button on the other side was also not a good idea since it basically makes the phone's volume button inaccessible with a wallet style cover for the phone. The front facing camera has pathetic quality. The Video from that looked more like a VGA camera from 10 year back. My face looked like water colored and not at all sharp. Even at broad daylight the quality was pathetic there. I would not recommend this if you want to do any video chatting.Overall I was not satisfied with the quality of the phone and decided to return this. I would have kept this if at least the Loudspeaker/Call audio quality was good.
