Easy to put together
This was easy to put together & works well enough if you are using smaller diameter logs that need split.... and don't want to use the axe. Came with a storage bag... kind of cheap feeling & honestly would be a little pointless if you mount this to a solid surface. I guess you could just slide it over the top of the mounted splitter.

Allen screws hold it in place and get a small sledge.
Got this for the backyard firepit as I am surrounded by trees and always needing to split small tomedium branches that drop. This lil guy worked great with my small sledge.I did attempt to use a decent size roof hammer and it slowly brought thewood down but my hand held sledge did the trick in 3 whacks. The cut wedges are carbon coated on steel and that's nice however I am unsure how longthe edge is going to stay and im wondering about sharpening.Outside diameter of most branches I use this on is 3 1/2 inches. The unit is held by allen head screws on the sides and everything including a bag comes with thesplitter.

Needs to be mounted
I could not assemble this fully. Everything else up until the last step (before screwing to the surface) was doable but I could not place the second blade on top of the two posts on either side of the first blade. Those two posts were not wide enough apart. I don't know if I'm supposed to use some upper body strength to widen them to fit but these are made of heavy cast iron so that was not going to happen. This is basically unusable for me. Secondly, this needs to be secured to the ground. It comes with 2 big screws to do so. It is definitely NOT PORTABLE or rather, it is not easily moveable. I guess you can unscrew and screw to a different location but that's a huge inconvenience. It should be secured to the ground for safety as the whole thing will move every time you use any kind of force to split a log.
