Sharp and cuts soft wood branches up to 3/4" easily. I'm older and not strong enough to cut bigger branches. Blade metal chips easily, I hit chain link fence and took a piece out (my bad). The lock seems flimsy, but works ok.

Nice and sharp. Cut's nicely. No hand fatigue. My only complaint, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the locking mechanism. Could be a better design if you ask me. However, it doesn't impede the performance.

More heavy duty than most. Comes with sharpening stone. The reach is a bit big for a small hand when shears are open.

Returned these because of quality issues.There are no rubber bumpers to cushion the blow when the blade snaps through a branch.while the steel of the blade looks good,it is thick, making the the cut a little harder than it should be.The handles are steel with some wrinkle finish on them,which I'm doubtful of, and the steel makes them bulky and heavier than they should be.I wound up getting the Felico knock offs from Corona ,BP 4250 for 25.00 ,had to file down the lock tab down a little,but other than that they look great.By the the way the Felicos are 50.00

When new, these did not open up automatically after each cut. I had to manually open the pruners with two hands before making another cut. Very time consuming and frustrating to use. However, in a few weeks of occasional use they did loosen up and were fine.

This is one outstanding bypass prune. I did a heck of a lot early spring pruning with it already and and it cut through thick branches like butter. My favorite feature is the sliding lock and release lever that can be operated with one hand using your thumb.

Was surprised at the quality for the price. Comfortable to grip. I have used a lot in the last few weeks and cut thru everything I have tried.

Great pair of clippers. Easy none slip grip and lock. Nice a sharp and cuts clean. I recommend this flipper for you out there that have roses, woody bushes and I even used them on my plum & pear trees.
