We bought a few UK aircraft models for our son this Christmas. This one fought at the start of the war so was quite important.The model is die-cast for the majority - ie the fuselage. The wings and prop are plastic and a few other little bits. This is fine, and usual. The only problem is the assembly looks a little rushed. There are lumps of glue, the strengthening cables are bent, two vertical posts aren't fitted properly, and there are gaps between components.It isn't a bad model, but could be better with more care. This is great, although smaller than expected. My grandson is collecting this and was very excited on Christmas Day. As an ornamental piece it’s great! Not really sturdy enough for playing with, but a great display piece.
