Finally, a cat fountain that is easy to clean with filters that have a long use. I have read some reviews about this product and changing the filter frequently because it doesn't last a month as indicated on the filter box. Really people? You have an animal that uses this product. Said animal has a bacteria laden tongue usually with scraps of food on it, after cleaning itself and licking it's butt; in a week the water can get slimy even with the filter in it. I clean mine every 7-10 days just by emptying the water, giving it a good going over with a washcloth, rinsing the filter and putting it back in, then filling up with clean fresh water. Since it is so easy to clean, takes about 5 minutes, take the time to do this. I love my little kitty, he deserves fresh water all the time.

I like this filter better than most that are used for animal fountains. This one is easy to put in and lasts awhile. There is no touching a nasty filter anymore either. These filters work great with the fountain and the price is right too.

They work well but are expensive and will shrink if put in the dishwasher. Use a disinfectant and spray out with a sink sprayer and let dry

Order delivered quickly. Very easy to assemble, there are drawings, 2 minutes are enough. The product is plugged in and the power cord is long enough. What I prefer is that it is really quiet and very aesthetic, it lands anywhere without problem because there is a compartment to pass the electric cable. It comes with replacement filters. My 2 cats love, they even play with flowing water, it intrigues them. I recommend because the water stays clean.

These are in stock and out of stock often. They seem to get gross quickly for the money. Cats do seem to like the fresh water but it’s a pain to have to buy water filters that can’t go on auto order at a consistent price and be in stock consu

I know it's hard to spend money on filters but these are great! I have 2 cats and one of them is a real pig. He likes to drop his kitty crunchies on the top of the fountain which can goo up the water supply fast. The filters take care of the slob's habit and Miss Prissy pants can still drink from the same fountain. If you don't have a pig-cat, the filters would last longer. I change mine out every 3-4 weeks when Prissy will no longer drink from the fountain.

Love the design as they do not have the mess of the charcoal fibers leaking through the packet. Very neat and do a great job. I usually place a used filter in the top of the dishwasher for a thorough washing. After washing, I rinse thoroughly under faucet to remove any detergent residue. That gives me to uses for each pad that helps reduce the cost. Perhaps one could use the procedure more than once but I have no way of knowing if the filtering ability would be compromised greatly.

Seems like the filter is always dirty. I use filtered water thru brita. The filter is always slimy and brown. I have to clean the filter with water every 2 weeks.

This is my second fountain from this compagny, I used the other one for a very long time. The new one is even better. I like the fact that the under bowl is transluscent, you can see the water level better. It is still very, very quiet. It's easy to assemble, to wash and will not break as all of the main parts are in ABS. Amazing quality for the price!

the unit they work along with is a very poor product HoneyGuaridan Smart Automatic Pet Water Fountain Dispenser with Infrared Induction, I have had this unit for 3-4 months and it has stopped working. A lot of money for a short span. I will purchase another unit from the pet store.

The product is good and easy to use. It is hard plastic and so when you need to throw it away every two weeks it is not environmentally friendly. I don't know if it can be recycled as it has the charcoal in it.

Have been buying these filter replacements for my HoneyGuardian fountain for the past couple years. They are simple, easy to change, and I feel reassured that my cat is drinking well-filtered water every day.

The filter appears to do a fantastic job of catching loose cat hair and anything else that makes it’s way into the water fountain. It’s also very simple to clean up the debris that it catches. I certainly wouldn’t use the fountain without the filter!
