The Eco-Worthy 280AH Battery w/ Bluetooth is the best Value on the market!
I wanted to share my experience asap, while the battery is still on sale. I received my Eco-Worthy 280AH battery exactly 1 week ago. It shipped very fast, was packaged well, and arrived undamaged. I have put it through a few cycles and monitored it's performance closely. It exceeds it's rated capacity, and performs as advertised. I watched quite a few video reviews of the battery before deciding on it. Eco-Worthy has exceptional build quality, with a metal cage protecting the cells and keeping them under light compression, to avoid swelling. There are more expensive batteries that do not have this build quality. Additionally, Eco-Worthy has the BMS mounted to the metal frame, isolated from the cells, which should allow for better thermal management. The metal bracing should protect the cells from vibration and keep them properly compressed. This will prevent any swelling during cycles and should increase the lifespan of the battery. The BMS was a key factor in my decision to buy the Eco-Worthy. My battery came with a JBD-DP04S007 200A BMS. This was important to me because JBD has a good reputation for quality, and I also knew that a JBD BMS should be compatible with other BMS monitoring software. In particular, I was looking for a battery who's JBD BMS was compatible with the Overkill Solar app. I can confirm that my battery & BMS are compatible with the Overkill Solar app. This is important for me because it allows me to monitor the performance & configuration of the battery in more precise detail than with the stock software. The factory BMS configuration appears to be well calibrated, so I saw no need to change any settings, and if you are using the Overkill Solar app I would advise you to leave the settings as they come from the factory. Probably the only suggestions for improvement I have for Eco-Worthy, would be to improve their application to show more details, and to have better compatibility with tablets. And also I would like for the BMS to be password protected. The Eco-Worthy app works well, it provides the basic functionality and information necessary to monitor your battery, but I prefer the Overkill Solar app. Overkill Solar performs better on my iPad Pro, it allows me to use it in landscape mode in full screen. And of course, on both my android phone and iPad, I can monitor the precise cell voltages in the Overkill Solar app, I can see when they are balancing, and I can also review all of the factory configuration BMS settings. After my initial full charge and allowing the battery a few hours to balance the cells, the cell balance delta has been very good. The cells in this battery appear to be well matched, they appear to be grade A as advertised, and perform well throughout the working voltage range. I will attach some screen shots to demonstrate this. I have been able to power all the appliances I was hoping to run with this battery, when paired with my 2000w Giandel inverter. Including my microwave, instant pot, induction stovetop burner, electric heater, etc.. I expect that this battery will perform reliably for many years. Eco-Worthy claims 6000 cycles / 15 years, and I expect that will be true. Eco-Worthy is delivering the best value battery here IMO, when you consider the build quality, quality cells, and capacity for the price. Their support was also responsive and helpful when I reached out to them with questions, they stand behind their product and are willing to work with customers whenever there is an issue. Since this is a review after only a week of testing, I will come back and update it if anything changes.

Great LifePo4 Batteries at a great price
I have had these batteries (I bought two for a total of 560AH) installed in my travel trailer for the past couple of months now and I am thrilled to say, they have performed flawlessly. I really appreciated the metal case and the ability to screw the batteries directly to the floor. The app has worked well, though I also have a shunt for tracking state of charge, and they have stayed very well balanced being wired in parallel. Important note: They come ~25% charged, with my 10 amp charger it took some time to fully charge before wiring them in parallel to ensure they were properly balanced. There was an issue with one of the batteries and the seller was prompt and very helpful in their response. 5 stars.

Large reliable battery with tons of power!!!
Tested battery with a multimeter after unboxing. Voltage was 13.14 vdc on all 4 280ah batteries. Connected all batteries in parallel for a 5000 watt pure sine wave Giandel inverter. Batteries were connected to inverter via 8 4 awg welding cables. 4 positive and 4 negative. I fully charged batteries with an ampivnt Solar controller and then proceeded to test the batteries. First I started with a 400 watt heater. Then I added a 300 watt ice maker. Dc voltage didnt drop. Next I added a 750 watt dehumidifier. Still the system was not even close to being pushed. Battery volt started at 13.79 and was currently at 13.75 dc volt under 1600 watt load. Lastly I added a 1500 watt magnavox heater and and 1800 watt waring pro dual burner hotplate. With ac watt draw at over 5000 watts the battery voltage only had dropped to 13.45 dc volts. These batteries are a must have and are cheaper than buying a big solar generator. I highly recommend to those who need backup power or plan on a diy solar system build. with this amount of performance these are of very high quality with superior performance under heavy electrical usage. If you upgrade to lifepo4 batteries make sure your charger or solar controller are lithium compatible and adjust settings accordingly.

Outstanding customer service, quality construction
The battery that I received measured nearly 0 V across the battery terminals, even after fully charging with an Eco-Worthy 20 A LiFePO4 charger. I contacted Exo-Worthy customer service and they responded the next day with some instructions for evaluating the battery, and upon completing the evaluation they determined that the battery was defective and immediately shipped a replacement free of charge. The replacement battery worked perfectly and has met all of my expectations. Eco-Worthy asked if I’d be willing to conduct a tear down of the original defective battery, to help determine the cause of the problem so that they could use the information to improve their product. I agreed, and upon opening the battery case and removing the cell pack I discovered that the BMS cable had been routed in a manner that resulted in it being pinched between a steel bracket and the side of the battery box, which ultimately cut one of the 5 wires. I reported the findings to Eco-Worthy and they immediately shipped me a new BMS cable, again free of charge, so that I had the opportunity to repair it if I would like to do so. I did and the battery now works flawlessly. The customer support team at Eco-Worthy was outstanding, and despite initial disappointment with the defective unit I would not hesitate to buy another Eco-Worthy product considering the phenomenal customer support that they demonstrated. Repairing the first battery also provided me the opportunity to evaluate the design and construction of the internal components, and I was very impressed with what I saw! The four battery cells were all secured together in a custom designed, powder coated steel cage, neatly secured together and protected with a dense foam product on all sides. The BMS was a JBD (Jiabaida) brand; a high quality, respected and well known BMS manufacturer. The BMS was securely mounted to the cage structure, complete with an aluminum heat sink and plenty of air space surrounding it. The BMS cable was a customer harness, wrapped in cable cloth and each wire was cut to match the distance to the corresponding cell terminal. Ring terminals were crimped to each wire end and heat shrink protected the connection. The 5 pin end of the harness at the BMS included a dab of sealant to ensure it remained connected. The cell connections were all secure, with the final positive and negative terminals in the series secured with a nut that included some sort of thread lock material. Lastly, the positive and negative wires were 6 gage silicone cable, and were routed in such a way to ensure that the positive and negative could never come into contact or abrade against each other to short the battery. All in all, the quality of the internal construction and the quality of the components used were very impressive. I’m very pleased that I purchased this Eco-Worthy battery.

Excellent RV LiFePO4 upgrade, especially if you want Bluetooth, front terminals, and a metal case
I bought this ECO-WORTHY 12.8V 280Ah LiFePO4 battery to upgrade my RV from a single 110Ah AGM battery to a much larger lithium setup. I ended up buying two of these, giving me 560Ah total. That is a huge jump from my old AGM setup, especially since a 110Ah AGM really only gives you around 55Ah of practical usable capacity if you are trying not to abuse it. These batteries are not small. Each one is noticeably larger than my old Group 31M AGM battery, with the listed dimensions around 16.54" x 8.64" x 9.65". The funny part is that even though this has more than 2.5x the rated capacity of my old AGM and uses a metal case, the weight is about the same. This battery is listed around 68.5 lb, and my old AGM was about 67.2 lb. So I gained a massive amount of usable capacity without really adding weight per battery. The specs are strong for the price. Each battery is rated at 12.8V, 280Ah, and 3584Wh, with a 200A max continuous charge/discharge current. The case is metal, which is exactly what I wanted, and it has front terminals that made my RV battery bay layout much cleaner. I also really like the built-in on/off switch. That is a very nice feature when wiring, storing, working on the system, or just wanting a simple way to isolate the battery. Bluetooth monitoring was another major reason I chose this battery. I wanted to be able to check battery state, voltage, current, and general status without guessing. The Bluetooth feature is very useful when you have multiple batteries and are trying to keep an eye on what the system is doing. I also wanted low-temperature protection because I do camp in cold weather. I recently got back from a snowy RV trip where it dropped to about 20°F at night, and I had no issues with these batteries. The box lists a 20°F / -7°C cut-off, which was one of the reasons I was comfortable using them in my setup. Obviously, lithium batteries still need to be treated properly in freezing conditions, but having low-temp protection built in is important. A few notes from my installation and use: • 12.8V 280Ah LiFePO4 battery • 3584Wh rated capacity • Metal case version • Built-in Bluetooth monitoring • Built-in on/off switch • Front terminals are very convenient • Listed 200A continuous charge/discharge current • Much larger than my old Group 31M AGM battery • About the same weight as my old AGM despite far more capacity • Low-temperature protection was important for my RV use • Worked well during a snowy camping trip around 20°F • Good fit for RV, solar, off-grid, and house battery upgrades If you are researching LiFePO4 batteries, Will Prowse is worth looking up. He tears down lithium batteries and does detailed reviews, and this is one of the models he recommends, especially for people who want Bluetooth monitoring. Even ignoring that, this is one of the better priced and better rated batteries I found in this capacity range. One buying note: make sure you choose the exact version you want. There are ABS/plastic case and metal case versions, and I specifically wanted the metal case. I originally ordered the ABS version by mistake, but ECO-WORTHY customer service was great at cancelling my Amazon order and getting me on track with the metal version. I like that the metal case version has an on/off switch, and front terminals are exactly what I wanted for my RV battery compartment. Overall, I am extremely happy with these. Going from one AGM battery to two of these is a massive upgrade. More usable capacity, similar weight per battery, Bluetooth monitoring, front terminals, an on/off switch, and freeze protection made this a great match for my RV.

Bad cells, over voltage warnings
I had high hopes for this battery, being very satisfied with the 165Ah version. However, this battery has two unbalanced cells out of the four. One cell charges above 3.65 volts, another is 3.55 and the other two 3.38. On one charging cycle the BMS stopped the charger because of a cell over voltage. The Overkill app shows the BMS trying to rebalance the cells but never achieves. Once the fully charged battery rests, the SOC, state of charge drops to 96% with no load and the BMS showing zero cycles (indicating that its a new battery). I believe that this battery has a faulty BMS which will only get worse with time. I was hoping to leave soon on an overland camping trip with this battery but am concerned that the over voltage cells and faulty BMS will create problems leaving me in a bad predicament in the wild. This was an expensive battery and I had hoped for it to be replaced.

Buena batería.
Pues apenas llevo una semana con ella ya instalada y funciona bien , si es Bluetooth, llegó bien sin daños . Me gustó. Tuve que comprar un cargador aparte de la marca victron, que están en casi 4mil , para carga de alternador del carro. Esperemos dure mucho . De momento da buena impresión su uso .
