Apevia AF312S-BK 120mm Ultra Silent Black PC Case Fan 3-Pack

Great, quiet fans, at a great price.

I had a cyberpowerPC with both 120mm case fans died recently. After reading the case fan products on amazon I chose this APEVIA fan. What I really made sure is it comes with Molex 4pin connector to replace the dead ones I have. I bought an extra pair just in case fan does not work upon arrival, but both worked well. Delivery was a day earlier, package was in good shape. Installation was easy and it works exactly as what I need. Noise level is same as my previous OME fan, not quiet but is normal and absolutely not annoying. I took one star off because there may be other better silent fans. Value wise this is very inexpensive and does the job.

These fans are for sure a great deal cost-wise. Two fans for 10 dollars is a bargain! I put these two on the front face of my computer tower and connected them to the molex power connector so they run 100% of the time at full speed. They move a good amount of air, but since I stacked them both on the front of the case, that's expected. They definitely are not "quiet". To be honest, it's a little bit louder than a hum. Maybe if you connected them to the 3 pin connector or had some speed control on it, they would be a little better on noise level. The screws are a tight fit and I saw some other complaints about them being the wrong size... I think they're fine. Kind of cheap screws that started to strip a little bit because of how tight they are, but they are good enough. Overall, they perform exactly as you would expect for their cost. It's a deal on price not so much performance/noise. For reference I bought two noctua fans for the same PC case and use those as an exhaust at the back and top of the case. Those are actually whisper silent fans. However, those cost me $13 each. If you want quiet fans, I'd look for noctua (or other brands) and pay the extra money. If you want simple air flowing and don't mind the noise, these are great.

These are not the fastest fans you can buy, but they worked well out of the box and are they aren't too noisy. Would definitely recommend.

Twin pack for $10 is a bargain. My mid tower PC has only two slots for case fans, and this pair is perfect. The fans will not move a lot of CFM, but not being a heavy gamer, these fans are for better air flow purpose only. I rather have quiet fans than having noisy but powerful fans. Unlike some reviewers claimed the fans are not quiet and run at full speed all the time, these fans are quiet in general, speed controlled by the motherboard once started up( little over 1,000 RPM). I guess those reviewers do not have true PWM fan connectors. One of my Acer desktops is of that type, the fan speed is either full speed( Smart fan disabled) or most of the time barely turning or stopped (maybe the temperature just not high enough for the Noctua fan to kick on) . I did not know which side of the fan was air intake originally. It was until I read the Q &A section that one person asked the question and got answered. The person asked the question thought that might be a silly question, but indeed that was a very meaningful and important one. Glad that I read the question before installing the fans. Will the manufacturer attach a piece of paper to the package telling us which side is the intake? Or at less include a picture in the Amazon's description page about that to help out customers. Have the fans for four months now and love them.

I bought 15 of these fans and I have replaced 10 so far. They work perfectly but they don't have enough static pressure for my use. I bought replacement fans with double the airflow and barely any louder. Good if you need a quiet system with increased airflow but not for mining or heavy gaming.

I needed to replace the two, static blue LED fens with non-LED fans because I am now running the machine as a webserver in my bedroom. Couldn't sleep with the LEDs glowing. These are good fans. Quiet, too. I needed one with a 3-pin motherboard connector and one with a 4-pin Molex connector. Each of these have both.

Son buenos y silenciosos, aunque de una calidad baja. A mí me llagaron en una bolsa de plástico (sin sellar), enredados en una sola capa de plástico burbuja y en una caja que se desmoronaba, entonces no vendrán bien empaquetados y probablemente vengan golpeados. Es muy duro atornillarlos y siento que en realidad tienes que amoldar la forma del tornillo en el plástico conforme los vas metiendo. Son silenciosos para ser unos ventiladores baratos (y eso que yo los conecté directamente a la fuente de poder; es decir, están a su máxima potencia por defecto). No son de conexión pmw, es decir (si mal no recuerdo) no puedes conectarlos en serie uno tras otro para que todos queden conectados a la tarjeta madre. De igual manera no importa mucho porque es de conexión de 3 pines, es decir, la tarjeta madre no regulará la velocidad dependiendo del uso. Si no te molesta perder esta propiedad, yo recomendaría conectarlos directamente a la fuente de poder mediante cable SATA (aunque en el manejo de cables sí será algo latoso).
