We purchased this mattress protector for our 3.5 year old to hopefully protect the mattress from any accidents. Feeling the product you can see it is a higher quality to some of the alternatives. It is very soft and has a nice touch of teddies on it too. As it is soft there is no noise when laid on the mattress. The large skirts on this product also make it easier to put on. Had a couple of accidents on it and absolutely nothing went through to the mattress and when machine washed, looks like new! The only downside to this mattress is that it is fairly difficult to dry after a wash unless you can line dry. I tried it in the tumble dryer (cool dry) but it didn't really do much, that could have also been my dryer though. Overall great product and well worth the extra pounds over a plasticy alternative

It’s our second purchase for protecting the mattress of our daughter’s crib. We needed to take the first one to the kindergarten and wanted to have another replacement at home to replace a wet one instead of washing and drying in some hours to have her crib ready again.
