Be a Direct Selling Superstar: Achieve Financial Freedom for Yourself and Others as a Direct Sales Leader

So, here's the thing. You are going to see a lot of different reviews here. Very few will give it a low review. I venture to ask those who gave it such a low review, "how successful are you in your business?" and "did you try to implement any of the ideas Mary puts in this book?". I don't think you can truly critique it until you have tried it.That being said, I LOVE Mary's books. My company was also blessed to have her as a speaker at our conference and she lit the fires of everyone in the room. She is inspirational, informational, and simply a superstar! Myself and my team have been implementing her ideas from this book. My team is growing, my business is growing, and my teammates businesses are growing because we have found what works for us. Some of us use all her ideas, others use some. It is about finding what works for you. Would I tell you that her books are all you should ever read if you want to be successful in Direct Selling...NO! That would be silly! If you want to succeed, keep learning, keep reading, find writers that speak to you. I do believe Mary speaks to most people and you can find many amazing ideas in this book that you can start using in your business today.

For a "used" book. The condition is great! Very minor wear.

First, let me say I purchased this book well over a month ago. I still haven't had the time to sit down and READ it. Some of you may feel the pull to get all judgey about how I should "make the time" however, the reality is I have responsibilities and deadlines to meet that often exceeds time available in a day/week/month. Every time I sit down to crack this book open? I fall asleep. Not because the content is boring, simply because I am exhausted. I sit? Brain says "WooHoo! Sleep time!"Book sits. Un-read.i keep hearing about what a marketing genius Mary Christensen is, however, I question that assertion on a couple factors.1) What marketing genius does not launch an audio version, simultaneously with a print version, in today's fast paced society where most of us are now getting our book time in in our cars and during our 3am workouts? Missed the boat on THAT exploding market... a BIGGIE market at that, as I would have purchased BOTH the print and audio versions myself. Genius? Hmmm. (My one star rating will most likely change when an audio version IS released. Especially if the AUTHOR narrates it herself. No one is as passionate about their own work more than the author themselves.)2) I have been "following" Mary Christensen on Facebook for quite some time now and more often than not I feel "used car salesman" slimed after reading many statuses of hers. Sometimes, I've even (quite seriously) wondered if she was drunk posting when her posts have been completely incoherent. These are NOT models I desire to project to my clients... never do I want them to feel as though I am just "going for the sale" such as I have felt about this one, and several others by this author. Also, authenticity does not include ridiculously incoherent blurbs leaving followers scratching their heads and thinking "Is she drunk?"I have more thoughts on this, though I have more pressing things to deal with. Meanwhile, I'll be listening to other Marketing genius' until Ms. Christensen steps up to the 21st century. Namaste.

If you've been in the direct selling industry for any amount of time, you've heard of Mary Christensen! You've probably read all her books and swear by them! Well, this is the big daddy of all her books. Whether you are a newcomer or been around the block a few times, this book will light your business on fire. It's easy to read, concise and engaging. Being a leader in a DS company is a challenge, you work with all personality types and differing levels of motivation within your team. This new book from Mary is a straight shooters look at how to lead, motivate and train your team to the top. After just one chapter, I was already reinvigorated and ready to tackle the current challenges in my DS organization. This is a MUST READ!

After having the opportunity to hear Mary Christensen speak at a convention I had attended, I was thrilled to find her books on Amazon at such an amazing price! I had no idea that she had several books available. I ended up purchasing three of her books. I am still in the process of reading all the great information inside each book. I definitely recommend anyone in the direct selling business to purchase her books and apply her advise to help make your business succeed.

This book is a practical guide full of helpful ideas, strategies and scripts. I originally bought it on my ipad, highlighting the great ideas in blue. However, I found the whole book was turning blue! So, I have bought the actual book both for myself and the Leaders in my team. What a precious gift it has been. Will be getting more of her books, they're too good to miss.

This book is a excellent read. I was very pleased with it. the author has a vast knowledge about direct sales and I learned alot from this title. It has inspired me to get up and move on my direct sales business. Three days after finishing it, I signed up a consultant under me and did Three parties after being in the business for a year and a half. I am now making it work! Double yay! I cant wait to read the rest. I now know how to be successful in my business and I will make it work. Thank you.

I would highly recommend reading this book. Great knowledge to apply in your every day life. Lots of great personal examples and life experiences that we can all relate to. This is the way the world is going. Job security is not what is used to be so we need to take control of our own lives and realize our income potential. Working for yourself is an amazing feeling. So why not do it the best way we can. Awesome tips from the best !!! You will get the AHA moment :)

The best of Mary's books in my opinion...I only wish I'd read this as soon as I set out on the leadership path. I'd have been SO much better equipped. I must-read for every aspiring Team Leader or Manager in direct sales. Lots of seriously good tips & advice on how to manage & grow a successful team & move your business forward from Sales Consultant. Highly recommended!
