Exactly as expected and similar to the item used as in PT for my recovery. This helps me keep up the needed exercising and stretching of my leg to get it straightened and work on the bending. Very easy to put on foot, slides well when bending, easily adjustable. We'll worth the purchase.

This product is a must after knee replacement surgery!!! I purchased this for my husband and it improved his physical therapy results tremendously. Very smooth slide that makes it easy to work with. The shoe that attached with the Velcro is so much nore stable for his at home exercises.

This in many ways is a great product...helpful for the heel slides BUT it is hard to get your foot into the foot holder...easy enough prior to surgery but I can see where you are going to have to have someone help you get your foot in (there is an elastic strap that your foot goes into inside the foot holder and also a velcro that you have to wrap around your ankle)....again easy enough prior to surgery but if you want to do your slides independantly whenever you want to then I can see this becoming not so helpful. Not sure if I am going to keep it or look for something easier to get your foot into, independantly when you can't exactly bend your knee or manipulate well enough to get your foot into by yourself. My surgery is in a few weeks and want to make sure I can use this by myself.

I am 2 weeks post op from a total knee replacement and I am 4 weeks ahead in my recovery BEFORE I ordered this product. I guess I am an over achiever. I am worried about my range of motion so I ordered this product. Your muscles are very painful with stiffness after surgery and you are scared that you will make the pain worse during physical therapy. I guarantee you this product makes it easier to do the exercises for range of motion. You are in total control with the stabilization and the confidence you need to do the exercises. I just opened the box and started using it. Believe me this will make a HUGE difference in your recovery! I wished I would have know about this product from day 1. This is a great aid for your recovery!
