There's a while to go before these can be (should be?) put up around the house but they are well worth getting in order to be ahead of time. Arriving in a cardboard box inside another cardboard box, these lights were securely packed. In the box were the folded string of lights, a remote control and a small user sheet. I did NOT unclip the lights and spread them out because I know I would make a hash of repacking them at the moment so my review is based on them still in a folded bunch. As I looked through them they all seemed in good order, there did not appear to be any broken ones and there were no bits of plastic in the box to indicate any had broken. The snowflakes are very pretty. The remote control comes with a battery already in place and the plastic battery cover just needs pulling out so the remote will work. There are no fittings to hang the lights up so those would have to be bought separately as would a waterproof socket if the wire was not being fed through a window. I plugged them in and ran through the functions on the remote. It worked as expected and all the functions worked - bright to dim and reverse, chasing, sequential, waves, there are 8 functions in total. I did make a video of the functions but it seems I am a technophobe who is only capable of plugging an item in and turning it on; I do not know where the video disappeared to. The lights did work well though. At the moment I am very pleased with their quality and am looking forward to seeing them up in December. I will come back and edit this review then. I do think they are worth the cost.

These icicle outdoor Christmas lights arrived boxed and neatly packaged. You can choose between cool white and blue white . I ordered the blue white . I was looking for icicle lights for around our conservatory and wanted something a bit different. These are trailing icicle lights but have snow flakes on the tips intermittently. These are really pretty lights and the contrast between the white and blue looks effective. There is a power lead that has a function button to change modes . There is also a remote control included that has timer and brightness options as well as selecting the mode. There are 8 modes to choose from that range from steady to fast flashing, I prefer the slow fade as it gives a twinkling effect . There is a connector end that you can join together more than one set of needed. These are waterproof lights so suitable for outdoor use. They cost £24.99 at the time of review which is a reasonable price but you could probably find cheaper in a bargain store. I was happy with the quality and would recommend though.

Nice item in the readiness for Christmas. Have hung these out to see how they look - Decent length at 35ft, led so the claim is only 3.6w so really low. Comes with a remote to change how the lights flash - 8 different modes. Typically I plug into a timer so they auto come on and turn off but I note that these also have a timer option on the remote - so set for 6H ON &18H OFF / 8H ON &16H OFF / 6H ON & 6H OFF & 3H ON & 9H OFF. - Overall nice set of lights and not to badly priced

The lights hang beautifully and light up brilliantly, suitable for either outdoor or indoor use, nice decorations to my porch, already received compliments from my neighbours.

With 35 feet and 48 drops these lights will easily light up the front of my home with beautiful shimmering bright white light.The snowflake design is a little bit more interesting and the weight pulls the lights straight and so they look nice and uniform.They have lots of different modes but I always seem to go for the twinkle. They have a convenient timer so will switch themselves off and I don’t need to remember. They also come back on with the mode I selected.They are weather proof and work perfectly in the drizzly UK.In my opinion they are good value for money and well made.I just love Christmas and can’t wait to get them up.I hope you find my review helpful.
