Good, bright light at an affordable cost; and you stay off the grid, too!
There is a side mount post and screw in for the light; but if you choose to hang the light by the hidden hook device you will need to locate your own hook and means to attach the hook to where you ultimately want the light to be. In our case, we are using it in the center of a nice sized, two car carport. It was actually easier, and sturdier to attach the light using zip ties so it doesn't dangle or swing. The light is excellent for the location, as we have struggled with the darkness when we needed to get to the doors in the middle of the carport. The light turns on, and give a nice, bright light once we're about 2 - 3 feet into the carport, and it stays on until after we've left the carport area. I would highly recommend it for similar circumstances.

Good quality light
I have 2 of these. One for my carport, and 1 for my garden shed. Both of them work flawlessly. I have it on motion control just at night for the carport. The shed is on motion control all the time, the battery never dies. Even on a cloudy day, the battery is sufficient to last several days. Absolutely, no issues provides a huge amount of light

Good value, tangled mess
Would give 5 stars but the cables are cheap and tangled and the screws are crap. Aside from those flaws, the lights are great. Very bright. Easy to use. Once untangled, easy to install. Love that they come with a remote.

So good, I ordered another 1.8 years later!
I ordered my first one more than 1.8 years ago and that one is still going strong. I like the mode where I can just have it turn on when it senses motion and then automatically turn off after 20 seconds. There are many modes to choose from and there is a remote. But I do not like to fuss with a remote, so I don't use it. I just hang the light source and do not use the stick/pole because it is not able to turn 180 degrees and is not applicable in my garage. If you think this light can go without the solar panel, it cannot. You have to have it plugged into solar panel or else it will stop working after a few days. The charge lasts quite awhile. I initially did not want the solar panel noticeable on my roof area, so I thought I'd just remove the light from the hook and charge it every other week, but that's a real hassle. So I had to attach the solar panel. It works so well and I've not had any problems with it. I walk into a dark garage and this lights up automatically when it senses me...which the range is wide enough for my use. I did not want to drill a hole into the garage wall, so I just duck tape it to the corner of the jamb of the side door. The wire does not get smashed. I highly recommend this item. As far as price, I initially thought it is expensive compared to other solar lights being sold, but my first one I purchased more than a year ago has not had problems, so it's worth buying again. I also love how easy it is to install. For me, I just hang it on a zip tie since I have exposed beams in my garage, but it also comes with screws and anchors. I just like how versatile it is for how you want to mount or hang it. I highly recommend this item.

Good bright light that fails quickly
As in the title. Got it all wired up to a solar panel controller in a shed, light kicked right on and everything's a go. Light did not turn back off: had to disconnect the wiring! Manual says "OFF" is mode 5, meaning the fifth press of the power button turns it off (so intuitive, eh?). Proceeding through the four modes, one-flash two-flash three-flash four-flash, the fifth button press just returns to the starting state (no flash, next mode is mode 1). Now I have to either install a switch in the circuit or throw the things in the garbage. UPDATE: The buttons completely stopped having any effect. I disassembled one of the lights and there were scorch marks on the circuit board around a pair resistors that probably are responsible for connecting the solar panel feed to the battery and controller. Company contacted me offering some sort of support or refund if I filmed a video of the problem. Here, have a one star review instead: this product ain't no good. Going to disassemble them to remove the battery (probably have to pay a fee to dispose of that, wonderful) and then it's the garbage pail for these.

Nice night light with 4 modes to choose from.
I really like this light, it stays on all night, I ended up buying two. The only thing I wished it would have come with the bolts for the solar panel, I had to go to the the hardware store and get the bolts that fit the threaded slots in the panel. And I guess they don't come with them because the second light I got there were no bolts for the panel in that one either. Still a great light.

It’s very bright when it works properly
Modes 1,2 and 3 didn’t work right. They flashed like a strobe light mode 4 worked properly which is a motion sensor which isn’t what we needed. Very were disappointed. Bought it because we needed the light at our barn from dusk to dawn. Although I didn’t have time to deal with the headache of a return, the company reached out to me to give me suggestions of what could be the problem very promptly. The light works perfectly now.

Solar panels not good in snow.
Good bright light. Loved them at first, but both the solar panels snapped after the first two inch snow fall. If you live in a climate that gets snow, you may want to look at other solar lighting options.
