Delicious, Healthful Addition to Low Salt or Salt-free Diet
Ground Sumac is a delicious addition to most foods you might sprinkle salt on. I will enjoy learning more ways to use it. So far, I sprinkle it on otherwise bland food like cooked buckwheat. I cube skinless, boneless chicken breast, dip each piece on egg white and roll it in a mixture of flaxseed meal and ground sumac. Quickly cooking it, stir-fry style, gives moist, tasty chicken to add to vegetables.

A Very Fine, Fresh Product!
Where I live there are only 3 grocery stores and the product line is pretty limited. From time to time, I like to make meals that are of my heritage and finding the spices I need locally is in vain. I needed Sumac and of course, none of the markets in my town had it...in fact, at the largest market, the manager didn't even know what Sumac was! Thank goodness The Spice Lab offered this through Amazon! It arrived quickly and when I opened the jar, the fragrance was so delightful! So happy with my spice and look forward to purchasing other rare and exotic spices from The Spice Lab.

This stuff is so good i could eat it with a spoon.
I saw someone make a Mediterranean Tuna Salad that called for this spice. Yummmm.... I ordered it immediately. So glad i did. Can't wait to try it out in a tuna salad (and everything else.) I received this very soon after ordering. It was well packaged for shipping. Bottle was sealed & in excellent condition.

A Must Have
I love the taste of sumac. I sprinkle it on rice and it gives a little bit of a sour taste. Not overbearingly sour just a nice taste. Good with kebabs as well.

Great flavor, lovely presentation on foods
You’ve got to try this spice on salmon! Spread it on a salmon fillet and grill as usual. The flavor is amazing. I’m experimenting with this spice because I’ve only recently been introduced to it. I recommend you give it a try.
