Animus SkinBond Veterinary Surgical Waterproof Wound Glue - Liquid Gel 2ml

My pointer has long ears. One of them has been bleeding for a few weeks now. There are two veins in The ear that come together near the bottom of the flap. It was impossible to stop the bleeding. I put plasters on her ear which stayed in for a while till she shook her head quite violently and the plaster came off. I was fed up with cleaning off the sprays of blood. Took her to our vet who put a large bandage on which pinned her ear to the side of her head. It was going all around her head and under her chin. 15 minutes later she had pushed the whole lot to the back of her head. I spoke to a friend who suggested I try superglue. I found the Animus skin bond here on Amazon and took a chance with it. It is a type of superglue, is quick drying, only need a couple of drops. What an amazing difference! I check her ear a couple of times a day, if needed I add a couple more drops. It can help heal other gashes and injuries. I have given this review because I am so pleased with the result and wished to share it. I am wondering why my vet did not use glue. It is a little expensive but well worth it.

It’s what I ordered, & does work , but the area concern is my dog’s nostril has split , the glue works but it’s a working nostril, so the glue isn’t a permanent fix, but I’ve been using it before we go walking, so it works in that aspect, the nostril is not infected kept clean ,his not in pain, & let’s me dress it. Brady is 16, his had me since he was 8 was, , thank you for your product, it has been useful, I will have a look too see you other products, Thanks

Works well, i recommend it often. Note: It takes a long time to dry, 5-10 mins. That is a long time to keep an animals wound shut without general. I use along with steri strips, shave & clean the area, apply steris, glue (superglue) the end points of the strips to fully hold the wound closed, apply this stuff to keep wound closed, let dry, apply dressings & make sure your animal has a cone on so they cant ruin your hard work. This process works - but cleanliness is key - make sure you, your area and anything else you may touch is clean. Will save you £650 for stitches at the vet.

Waste of money. !!! My dog licked the glue in a few seconds. Definitely not veterinarian product !!!!

Haven't actually tried the glue yet. I bought it for emergencies. However the bottle is so tiny, about 3/4 of the size of a person's thumb, so I can only imagine there to be about 5-10 drops per bottle. Not great value for money!

Fantastic. I don’t understand people’s issue with this product. It’s amazing. You need such little amount (or you’ve got a big problem/wound) You don’t need to use the fiddly little tubes they supply. It’s so easy to use. Used it on my foot which was not healing due to nerve damage. Amazing. *excuse the crusty foot, I haven’t been able to get it wet for 3 weeks waiting for wound closing strips to work. They did great but this is what I needed. I should have gone to get it stitched but I didn’t have anyone to look after my child. So this glue saved the day.
