Great scratcher
This was very easy to put together, and the cats were immediately interested. It is a good distraction from the couch.

Cats love it!
I have 2 large cats that are absolutely in love with this scratcher. They can stand up straight and go to town on it. One has even started to sleep on it. Durable enough that it should last a couple months in my house but, I will definitely be ordering another one.

Does not stay in "L" shape.
Flimsy pieces of cardboard with two sided tape is used to keep the "L" shape so it will stay against the wall. This lasted two days. With cats doing what they are supposed to do, this fell apart in no time. Luckily, my cats still like to scratch the box, but it is flat on the floor. I do not recommend.

All 4 cats love it and it's saving my couch
I have 4 cats and they all love it. My two youngest were using the couch as a scratcher, but they haven't touched it since we got the actual scratcher. Considering getting another

best cat scratcher
My cats love scratching at this. The "L" shape is perfect for scratching on the bottom and stretching and scratching. They also just love sitting on it.

Buy Duck Tape Too
Although I like the concept, the adhesive strips used to support the scratching pad don't hold. I used duck tape to hold it together. It's just cardboard so I don't understand why it's so expensive. That said, now that it will stand up on it's own, my cat is starting to use it. Update - duck tape didn't work for long and ultimately it was just laying flat on the floor. Save money and just by one that isn't intended to stand up.

Fiddly but works.
My cats love it. They were so hard on it, I've tie wrapped it to the leg of the chair they were trying to destroy.

Has absolutely kept my cat from scratching the furniture. Also enjoys just sitting in it!
