We don't hunt duck! As a kid we had a duck call around the house, (I have no idea why) and it was played with far more often than you would imagine. Now, decades later, I have a grandson and he loves this. It is very well made. It makes quite a high pitched ducky sound, but is controllable with the fingers to alter the noise, which never fails to bring a smile to the little chap's face. Perhaps we should try it out on the ducks on the local river?
