Midnight at the Oasis
There are many of these Moroccan poufs for sale, but they are not all the same quality. I've had several of the cheaper ones, and you get what you pay for. This pouf from this seller is the best one by far. It is heavy, a real piece of furniture, not just an accent piece. The colour is gorgeous, grey with a very subtle undertone of powder blue to my eye, and it looks great against black, white, blue, natural tones as well. There is not a single stitch out of place or pulled--this thing is solid and extremely well-made. The leather is top quality and very soft and smooth. The threading is silky looking and strong. It is strong enough for me to stand on to pull something down from my closet, sitting on it doesn't smush it, in fact nothing seems to effect it whatsoever. It is stuffed with some kind of heavy duty filler material, because I have to pick it up to move it, it isn't like a foam filled bean bag that you can push with your foot. It's more like a medicine ball. So yes, the price may be a little higher than some of the others, but it is so totally worth it. I could never have stuffed it as thoroughly and with such heavy duty material, so don't even think about buying one unstuffed if you plan on really using it as casual seating because you will spend three times more on the fill than on the pouf itself. Some reviewers complained of odor with some of the other seller's poufs, but this had zero odor, other than the scent of new leather. Had I known how well-made and high quality this is, I never would have wasted money on any others that are for show not for actual use.

Beautiful and authentic!
The other reviewers were right, this is a very good quality, authentic moroccan pouf/ottoman. I bought the silver and it's a really nice accent for my colorful living room. Shipping was quick and packaging was solid. I haven't noticed any kind of chemical smell to boot. Thinking about getting another in brown leather for my bedroom. Highly recommend!

QUALITY Merchandise and QUALITY Customer Service!
The two poufs ordered were each beautiful, but, because they were to be placed next to each other, the variance in size was troubling. I ordered a third, the plan to keep the closer two in size and return the third. This one was just perfect for the color, exactly as pictured. So, I contacted Moroccan Flair and both Benny and Zineb couldn't have been more helpful. They advised I would need to wait for a new shipment to arrive before ordering the fourth pouf. This one came quickly and-YAYYY!- was a perfect match! The quality of these handmade poufs is unmistakable! Yes, they DO have a "distinctive" smell which does wear off in time. The quality of Moroccan Flairs CUSTOMER SERVICE is beyond excellent!I would highly recommend engaging with this company, you will not be disappointed!

Pleased with this, but have one concern...
I have had bad luck ordering Moroccan poufs before. One that I purchased online stank so much I got rid of it. Another was too garish. I’ve had poufs that were filled poorly and got mushy over time. So I was pleased to receive this sturdy, well-filled, well-made pouf. It has some weight to it, so it stays in place when I use it as a footrest. It is stuffed to capacity, with dense fill. The embroidery is attractive and nicely done, with no loose or stray threads. The leather is evenly tanned, substantial and supple (sometimes these things can be made of too-thin, dry, fragile leather). The color is like that of an old baseball mitt. The pouf did have a slight odor when I took it out of the plastic bag, but that dissipated after I left it outside on a warm day. One of my dogs was too interested in it and kept licking it, which makes me wonder about the tanning process and the storage facility for these poufs (hmmm...). Other than that issue, I think this was a good purchase.

Authentic and beautiful
It’s nice and firm, truly authentic and lovely. The leather is beautifully stichtched and the leathers shows realistic imperfections when it was tanned. Smells like leather and is quite heavy. I had something similar as a child and it was from Morocco.

Love this Pouf!!
I ordered this after looking at thousands of Poufs, and there are thousands to choose from. I read reviews to make my decision. This guy fits the bill for all uses. It is perfect to put my feet up on, right height. Firm enough to sit on, yet soft enough. No odor at all which many reviews mentioned. It is several shades of brown so goes with my new dark brown leather couch and everything else. It is lighter than I expected and very easy to move around yet heavy enough to stay put. If you are in the market, this is the one to buy. I will buy another soon for the other side of the room.

Do not buy.
I ordered a stuffed leather pouf. It arrived but it was NOT stuffed. They sent a note saying they were having problems getting the stuffed poufs through customs so they would send the stuffing separately in a few days. A couple of weeks later, the stuffing arrived and it filled the pouf about half way. I put in a few more pillows and it still isn't fully stuffed. I will return. This is NOT worth $140. I regret this purchase.

The best Moroccan Ottoman
Well packaged, very well made, just excellent quality. So glad I ordered this already stuffed! I don’t think I would have been able to stuff my own this firmly. Ordered the tan. Very pleased.
