Fits well
This gas cap fits my 1949 Ford 8N tractor just fine. The top looks to be made of stainless steel. It has a dull finish compared to a chrome cap. I tried it on a couple of my old trucks. It fits on my 1969 Chevy C10, but not on my 1950 Chevy 3100. I don't plan on using the cap as my primary on my tractor since I have one with an integrated fuel gauge. Overall, this seems to be a good cap.

Fuel cap for tractors
Being a farm we have several tractors from green to red to yellow. I got this to be a spare for when someone forgets to replace the fuel cap after refueling. It is a nice heavy metal cap with a gasket an a very generic build. Made in China.

Fits a Massey Ferguson 255 Diesel perfect. P.N.; 530842M91
Searched all of the major tractor parts houses with no dimensions or cross references given. Ordered this one and it fits my 255 Diesel perfectly. Massey Ferguson part number: 530-842-M91, Cap, Filler. Gave it a 4 because I have not actually run the tractor with it yet and it comes silver, not red. Great find.
