I think the best thing about this bulb is the cost, but that doesn't mean it's not a great bulb. I bought it in February and it's been working well since. It's a perfect cool white colour and matches my cool white kitchen florescent tubes. There's not much you can say other than it's bright and working well, and at the cost it's great.My only negative comment would be that it's nowhere near as bright as an Integral 10w warm white bulb I have which claims almost double the lumens (1521 vs 800) and I can believe it. The Integral bulb was almost twice the price, but with LED bulbs it's worth noting that the lumen output is a far better comparison than the wattage.Update (1/10/16): Well, I spoke too soon. Just after writing my review the bulb went squiffy. It would light dimly whilst the switch was on, but it never lit fully, then when I turn the light off it would flash and then light at full brightness for a split second before going out. I think a capacitor has gone or something similar on the internal board. Either way, I contacted Amazon who are replacing it under warrantee and hopefully the replacement lasts longer.I've revised my original 5 star review to a 4 star review, but if the replacement is still going strong in a year or so I may up it back to 5 stars.

As we all want to save power nowadays and look for bargains I picked this light up.It fit the standard bayonet adaptor without any issue and has continued to plow on producing light for us in the bedroom. It is a strange light in comparison to the usual 'warm white' you get normally and sometimes I almost think it has a bit of a green spectrum in it but that could just be me. I hope that I get the alleged 30k hours of it, but I think with most LED bulbs this isn't going to be the case and it will pop, fizz then die out more than likely after 5k like most of the other bulbs I have purchased from Long Life Company.

A friend of mine was having a bad time reading her news paper with her old light bulbs so i sent off for a set [ 3 ] of the led light bulbs , after i had fitted them for her i notice how nice and clean looking the room was it was more like daylight than night time but when Mary pick up her newspaper she was one happy lady reading all the paper 100% so i am now looking to buying some for myself , i rate the bulbs a good buy .

I mistakenly ordered cool white, so light is too white for our lounge, but light is bright and instantaneous. I will use elsewhere in the house. Can't comment on lamp life yet, but product looks to be of a very good quality. I intend to order the warm white version. Just be aware that they are quite large, similar to the old full size incandescent, OK for table lamps and pendant lights etc. but would not fit in smaller lights.

Just failed after 2 years... £3 a year not too bad...At 30,000 hours life they must have been on for 41 hours a day constantly for 2 years...Lasted longer than Osram to be fair

I got this product from company : Strictly Lamps an year before. Out of 3, 1 became faulty and when i contacted the seller, they were kind enough to replace the product for me at no extra cost. The other lamps have been working fine and i love the white light. I appreciate the Sellers (: Strictly Lamps) commitment towards keeping up customer promises. The product is excellent and it's worth buying.

Exactly what I was looking for. The light is white and perfect for living room. Can be suitable for working, drawing or everything.

Very nice bright cool white bulb. We just had new extension and painted it white and these bulbs make it look fresh and modern. Some may prefer the warm white bulbs for cosy rooms but it is down to personal preference. I was very happy with the service from this company and would use them again.
