I bought this USB-C to Ethernet Adapter as my Microsoft Surface Pro 11 does not have an Ethernet port and sometimes WiFi connections are pretty bad. At home, I have decent WiFi speeds, in excess of 500Mbps. When I connected this to my Surface Pro, I only got 200Mbps! Looking online, I saw the following fix: Adjust Ethernet Adapter Settings In Device Manager, right-click the Ethernet adapter → Properties → Advanced tab: Set Speed & Duplex to 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex (prevents auto-negotiation failures). Disable power-saving features like Energy Efficient Ethernet or Green Ethernet. Under the Power Management tab, disable Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. After dong this and restarting the Surface Pro, I saw ethernet speeds in excess of 950Mbps! So the adapter works great as long as your computer is properly configured. I tried using the adapter on my iPhone 17 Pro Max and it also worked great, giving me gigabit ethernet on my iPhone (see attached image)! I have not tried charging my laptop through the 100W charging port.

I originally purchased this Ethernet adapter for a Dell laptop and it worked fine, getting ~875Mbps compared to 945Mbps that I get on my desktop with a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet adapter using Speedtest. I then tried it with an iPad Air 4th gen and it again worked, getting ~803Mbps. However, when I tried it with an iPad mini 6th gen, it wasn't recognized. I thought this was odd since the two iPads were released around the same time so I contacted their technical support. Their reply was "Not compatible with iPad mini; only compatible with iPad Pro." I guess I got lucky with the iPad Air.

I needed to connect my newer laptop to the internet in order to fix some problems that were keeping me from logging into wireless. This worked perfectly and I was able to do what I needed to.

Ich habe mir den Adapter für das Apple Studio Display gekauft. Den Adapter habe ich direkt am Display hinten angeschlossen und mit Klettband befestigt, damit ich sofort bei Anschluss des MBP am Display eine LAN-Verbindung zum heimischen Netzwerk habe. Das funktioniert einwandfrei und zeigt durch entsprechende LEDs die korrekte Verbindung und den Datentransfer an.

Tra tutti gli adapter che ho provato questo è sicuramente quello meglio realizzato. Gusci oin alluminio brunito, cavo robusto e spinotto usb-c che si incastra nelle porte senza "ballare". Le forme stondate riducono l'ingombro ulteriormente e questo può sembrare una cretinata ma se viaggiate spesso può essere utile. Quello che mi ha stupito è stato il packaging considerato il prezzo di acquisto...di solito arrivano scatolette di cartone anonimo o addirittura buste di plastica trasparente per limitare i costi. Qui la sctola di cartone brandizzata e colorata con tanto di tagliando per partecipare alle beta test di prodotti futuri. Devo dire molto sorpreso, per chi ne capisce di packaging questo non è un dettaglio da poco. Per farla breve: ci sono adattatori di plastica, enormi, non sempre funzionanti, con materiali di seconda scelta a prezzi anche doppi rispetto a questo prodotto, che invece è in alluminio, compatto, ben presentato e funzionale. Non ho mai speso così tante belle parole per una prodotto!!!
