Magnetic Case for Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus Compatitable with Magsafe, [Magnet Stand] [Camera Lens Protector] Matte Translucent Back Anti-Slip TPU Bumper Phone Cover for Galaxy S23+ (Black)

After six years of using my Samsung S8 Active phone, which has been a great phone, I finally decided to get a new phone, a green Samsung S23 Plus. I wanted the same protection I had for my old phone, durable but also functional. I bought the green case after many searches for a phone case that would primarily keep my phone from damage, accidental drops, and scratches. Also, I needed it to mount to my "IPOW Long Arm Universal Magnetic Cradle" in the car. Unfortunately, I discovered that wouldn't be possible because it had a center magnetic and wasn't compatible with this case. Fortunately, IPOW sold a "Magnetic Wireless Car Charger, [Ice Cooling Charging] IPOW Compatible for MagSafe Car Mount Charger," which is compatible (same ball joint size) with my car's long mount arm.Not many phone cases offer the features I wanted for my new S23+. As you can see in the pictures, it looks pretty good. I only have a few issues so far.1. The metal ring is not flush with the case when closed. This could be a potential issue with charging. I tested a few MagSafe chargers, which didn't work with this case. I have, however, found two chargers that do work. One for my car sold by IPOW (mentioned above), and the other one sold by "CYSPO 15W Fast Wireless Charging Pad."2. The metal ring is a tad loose. When I mount it in the car in landscape on my IPOW MagSafe charger, when driving on not-so-smooth roads, the ring unfolds a little stopping the charging. But will spring back to the close position, resuming charging. This happens several times when driving, making it a little irritating when watching this happen.3. [Update 8/7/2023] I have noticed the inside of the metal ring the paint scratches off. It's a different color paint (lighter green) than the rest of the ring with text on it and probably wasn't baked on. I'm not sure what to do about this unfortunate development.4. The ring is uncomfortable if you plan to hold your phone by slipping a finger or two through the ring. Not really an issue for me since I have the ability to hold my phone with one hand, type, and navigate the screen.5. The lip protection around the screen is only 1/16 inch high. It could be an issue if you do not have a good screen protector, which I hope I have by buying the "Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector."6. The three buttons on the side for volume up and down and power/Bixby are too easily pressed. With previous phones, I have owned and the cases I bought for them, this wants an issue because the buttons were made from the same material as the case, rubber or plastic, giving it a little bit of resistance when pressing the buttons. These buttons are made of metal. Which doesn't offer the resistance I was hoping for. For example, it has the same resistance if you have no case, just the buttons. I always find it too easy to press by accident. However, the buttons do look nice.Overall and so far, I am happy with my case. The issues above I can so far live with. Nothing is ever perfect. Time will tell if this case can withstand the test of time.

Without the case on my phone charges on my bedside and car wireless chargers flawlessly. However, with the case on my phone it shows my phone is charging but actually it slowly loses charge. I give the case 3 stars for 2 reasons: 1. The rubber texture of the edges of the case provide a firm, soft, and comfortable grip on the phone. Without the case the S23 is slippery and a bit too thin to grip in my hand, And 2. The kickstand is a great feature because it allows you to stand your phone firmly in either portrait or landscape mode allowing different viewing angles. The raised edges of the case also protect the screen and camera lenses. And unlike some cases that are bulky this one is sleek and slim. The case fits well enough to protect my phone from drops but the edges of the case on the front, long side don't wrap tightly around the front edge of the phone. If only I could charge it wireless with it on :(

I got this for my daughter to use with her phone, since she’s very accident prone, and I don’t feel like paying for a new screen. It’s very easy to install onto her phone, and it’s very secure on it. It’s very sturdy and durable, and very well made. I highly recommend getting this, for such a great price as well.

With a name like MALEWOLF you would think it would be at least a little rugged feeling. The outer surround is too smooth and not textured at all for grip. The MAGSAFE ring feels kinda cheap. It does come with protective lenses for the camera and easily aligned with install tool. I'll use it till my next arrives.

just ok case, slippery, the color more darker then the picture shown, the back case is not the clear material, I expected it is the back is clear

I like the case because it's light weight and gives me the protection I need for my phone.

Nice looking case, but does not function with a wireless charger. So what's the point?
