Great little filter for 25l tanks, shrimp and fry safe
I've used this filter for 3 years and it usually ends up replacing filters in other full set up tanks that I bought as they are never as good as this one. Very quiet, safe for shrimp and fry, even water flow which is just enough for a nano tank, offers 3 different capsules for different approaches to nano tanks. I prefer the crystal clear one as the results are amazing, see the photo.

Good Filter for Starters and Cheap to Run
I got the Ciano fish tank which is lovely which also included this filter and their light several months ago as I wanted a fish tank and have just orderded the Cf80 filter mainly because although the Cf40 still works and I clean it out thoroughly once a week, I noticed that the power slows down after a while. I'm hoping that by getting their next model it's more powerful. The Cf40 filters can be bought at any pet store but I get mine from Amazon as they do all the different cartridges that Ciano have. The filter is quiet to run and I will keep it as a standby filter always.

Cleaned my tank beautifully
Was having problems with the water quality in my tank and this has sorted them out with relative speed. Couldn’t recommend this brand enough. Water clarity is now great and the pump is not overly noisy.

Filter/ pump for 22 litre fish tank
The instruction leaflet is very difficult to follow not only because of the layout but also because the diagrams are very confusing. The type size is so tiny that it’s virtually illegible. Have now installed and hoping I‘ve done it correctly. Not much noise, just a low level buzz

It broke within 2 weeks
The product is good, when it works. I had one that came with my tank and that broke after 3 weeks so I bought this one but this one broke after 2 weeks. I thought after the first one broke that it could just be an issue with that one but then this one did too, I think you’re better going for another product. When it was working my fish loved it but I can’t justify it because I’ve had two that broke fairly soon after getting them.
