Well made, flexible Japanese saw
Japanese saws are a very handy tool to have around the house or shed as they have so many uses when it comes to sawing wood in hard to access places, our main use will be pruning when secateurs are not enough. It arrived boxed and has plastic guards for each side to protect when not in use. This one is light and looks well made, it has a bit more flex than I would like but others may prefer it that way. In use it saws well and the different sized teeth compliment each if you start with the denser side and then switch to the other.

Sharp!
When I ordered this wood saw it was because of it being Japanese as their steel has always been the best. The saw itself is 12.2 inches long, flat and teeth on each side it’s extremely sharp and cuts through wood very easily to the point I’m very impressed and now I have a saw that can cut through the items I need it too and what I found is this works smoothly and evenly unlike my old hand saw where the teeth catch constantly making it hard work.the only thing which could have been better is because it’s very very sharp the teeth covers are two little covers which when taken off does not want to go back on and whilst trying I knocked myself so a better protective cover is needed in my opinion. At £19.99 at the point of ordering for the jobs it’s done already plus the quality its worth the price in my opinion besides the cover issue.

Seriously impressive little saw
I've always wanted to try Japanese-style saws, having seen reviews of not only how bitey they were, but great for precision jobs, but had never pulled the trigger.I saw this one on Vine, and clicked the button really, really fast. Seriously glad I did, it's been stellar so far.It comes in a small cardboard box (which I kept), a plastic bag and has two plastic strips riding the teeth on each side, to protect the rest of the universe from them...And yes, it's that sharp. Seriously, was doing a quick project, nothing major, just turning old floorplanks into a lamp base, the kind of job I kept putting back as I was too lazy to get the proper saws from the tool shed. That little monster chewed through these in seconds, and then after wiping and boxing back, fitted perfectly in a tool drawer. The blade is flexible (but not too much to the point of wobbly), and though the way you hold it might encourage your line to get out of true, it only takes one cut to notice and correct your wrist placement for precise, straight cuts. The teeth are different on each side, one for rough cuts, the other for more precise. Not quite sure how to gauge the exact size of them, they are quite different from western saws, but they cut both ways.In short, a really neat little tool that's going to be a godsend for these jobs that don't need that much and therefore keep me from getting the big kit out, definitely would recommend.

A nice clean cut.
The 'SYEONKOS Japanese Hand Saw, Japanese Pull Saw' arrived in a cardboard box.The saw has two blades one coarser than the other, both protected by plastic covers, which is a great idea to refit when not in use.I first encountered this type of saw several years ago, and was impressed at the cut. Unlike a conventional saw where the main cut is on the push, this is on the pull.As you pull the saw it keeps the blade under tension and therefore less chance of bending the blade. These saws create a nice clean cut in soft or hardwoods, and are great when a more accurate cut is needed. This is going to be great in tight spaces where a tenon saw is unsuited.I have included a couple of pictures taken with a macro lens where I have tested the blades. The surface is not perfect as I may have used a bit more force than necessary. I also forgot to finish the dust off before photographing.

Better than expected.
This is a very handy tool / saw to have in your shed. The blade is semi flexible and this makes getting in to awkward places easier but it's still stiff enough to be a good cutting tool. It's a two sided blade with teeth along both edges, one side has finer teeth than the other so giving you the choice of a coarse cut or a fine cut. Whichever side you use the teeth are good and sharp. Importantly, the teeth are facing backwards so you actually cut when you are pulling the blade back towards you. This is a must due to the flexibility of the blade, if it were a forward cut blade and snagged when you were pushing forward the blade would buckle. Made from quality materials, the saw fits in to your hand comfortably and you can get a good grip on the handle. A very good product that's handy to have even if you don't use it a lot.

Amazingly easy to cut anything
A small and neat little double sided saw wich I wasn't expecting too much from but was pleasantly surprised.Nice and light to handle and use but cuts through things with real ease taking the hard work out of cutting and cutting in both directions (push and pull) as you use it.I tried first with a roofing battern and it flew through it even though it was damp wood so as a larger test I tried a thick branch that has been out in the weather for some time. It cut through this with ease needing very little pressure to cut through and did it extremely neatly too.A really good say that I thoroughly reccomend

High Quality Japanese Hand Saw
Ordered for my partner as an addition to his ever-growing tool collection as he doesn't own anything like this and thought it would be handy for him plus it looks impressive. He was very happy to receive this and said it would be perfect for various word-working & DIY jobs around the home or at work. It is very light-weight and easy to hold, almost like a bread knife with robust oversized teeth. What sets it apart is its dual-sided design with two size variations, effectively making it a versatile 2-in-1 saw.
