These and a cordless impact just might be my ultimate car camping hack. The screw/pegs are very sturdy. Tough ground is no both pull the trigger and your pitched in not time. Also fighting with pegs stuck in the ground is a problem of the passed, just flip the impact in reserve and no more bad back on the drive home.

Love these. Big tent, impact driver and screw in pegs. Tent not going anywhere! Solid, used several time and still awesome! Just remember to pack the impact driver! (And you’ll need to find the right socket bit.)

I use an impact driver to utilise these and they work very well. Top tip - drive these in whilst holding down any rope or awning connections first. Failure will result in potential damage to your straps (I'm using a drill, so it's spinning). These literally drill through hardcore chunks easily and my awning never moved through 60mph gusts. They work equally good in grass. Simple to install and simple to remove. I'll never go back to normal pegs. Recommended, if you use correctly and safely.

Bang them in with a claw hammer then unhook the guy and remove the peg with a cordless drill. Saves lots of time and backache. I came back and got another pack.

Love these for hard or soft ground. Purchased a number of times as you can never have enough pegs!!

I bought two packs of these to use when pitching our caravan awning and they are fantastic. I already had the hex socket that is needed to fit the head so there wasn't any additional expense for me but for those who haven't you will need one. Anyway with battery drill in hand with socket attached I pegged down our porch awning in in less than ten minutes right through an extremely hard standing surface. The thread grips the ground perfectly and almost no effort is made to drive them home. I also used spare ones to peg down our clothes airer in soft ground with equally good effect, again fantastic. The only thing I would say to be mindful of is the hooked plastic head will spin with the peg and if you catch your fingers it hurts. This can be got round by simply giving each peg where the plastic hook is fitted a squirt of WD40 and a bit of a wiggle and the plastic hook loosens greatly removing the risk of them spinning and catching your fingers. So don't be in any doubt, go now and throw away the bent and buckled pegs you carry around and dread having to force into the ground and drop the mallet you've repeatedly hit your hand with into the same bin and order these. They truly are a brilliant product

Holding the pegs with one hand and using a power tool with the other is a bit of a recipe for disaster (or a ripped tent). I have removed the plastic part and drilled them out so that they will spin on the metal peg.

Utilisés pour fixer un abris en toile, ces piquets correspondent tout à fait à ce que je recherchais. Mon sol est très caillouteux et les systèmes fournis ne rentraient pas plus de 5 cm dans le sol. Avec ces piquets et une perceuse visseuse aucun effort et la tenue me semble bonne. A voir dans le temps. Le coffret est un plus, pratique pour le rangement.

Una maravilla. Llevaba muchos años doblando piquetas, rompiendo piedras y martillos de goma, o peor aún te encontrabas con suelo duro. Con este tornillo y un buen atornillador eléctrico se acabaron los golpeteos a las piquetas y doblarlas. Aunque eso también forma parte del camping pero ahora vas sin miedo donde poner la piqueta atornillada. El plástico negro debes cogerlo con los dedos fuertemente para que no gire con el tornillo. Plástico de muy buena calidad. Atención debes llevar un taladro de batería de larga duración o con cable, pues para una tienda en la que debas utilizar todos los tornillos te quedas casi desmontándola a mano los últimos tornillos.

Que inveto, hojalá lo huviera descubierto antes! Van perfectas, para roscarlas hay que aguntar un poco el plástico negro para que no gire pero nada díficil de hacer. Totalmente recomendables, hace la vida del campista mucho más cómoda.
