Q: Can anyone tell me the diameter of the individual bells?

Hey, Adam. They are about an inch across and 4.25 inches in circumference. They are fairly large as jingle bells go, but produce a delightful sleigh bell sound. I have one antique sleigh bell ( over 100 years old) and they sound almost as good as it does. The bar is heavier than I thought it would be and I use it two handed, but the weight gives it a nice tone. Hope this helps.

Q: Where are these jingle bells made?

My sleigh bells did not come with a "country of origin" sticker, but I would imagine since the company is German that the bells also come from Germany, although I cannot say for sure. i do know that Meinl is, as far as I am concerned,(and as a musician) the best one can get in percussion gear. Hope this helps.

They are bigger than I thought they would be but, they sound good, not so big you can't use them. I like them the more I use them.
