Hello it is a great travel iron, but sorry not made in the US made in China.

How does only 1 oz of water last for jobs of pressing open seams? That doesn’t seem like enough.

This small iron is made for small jobs. The water (1 oz) lasted me long enough for a few minutes of steam ironing. If I had a lot of things to press, I would use my big steam iron. The water was gone when I finished the 5 to 10 minutes of ironing. If I had more to do, I would have to wait until the iron cooled and put more water in, or use my big iron.
