The wider opening toenail cutter is sharp enough to cut hard toenails with fungus growth without pinching and binding. However, the curved blade limits the size and angle of cuts, because it should have flat blades, not curved. The slant pointed straight cutter tool is great for trimming down larger fungus growth on top when it gets out of control, but be very careful -- it is sharp. I was very happy to find this quality manicure set for my toenails, but also for fingernails. The operation goes much quicker than before, when I used only the standard narrow toenail clipper, which didn't do the job. Soaking feet and cleaning toes first always helps too.

These clippers are nice and sharp. They cut and not mash finger and toe nails well. The large clippers are a bit fiddly to use since they use a hinged leaf spring which allow the jaws to open wide, but, for me, are less easy to control. The small clippers are very good and the cuticle cutters also work well. The carrying case, trimmers, and nail file are a good bonus.

Very sharp and sturdy. Be careful, these products work well but will cut you if you're not really cautious.

This one clipper is the all time best clipper that I have ever used! It has the lightest touch to move into the nail, and then when actually clipping the nail takes very little effort to cut even the thickest nails! I have weak muscles so this easy touch makes it so very easy for me to use, unlike most other clippers which require a great deal of pressure just to move the clipper down to the nail itself, not to mention the extra pressure which is required to cut the nail itself. Yes, this clipper is so excllent that I would give it ten stars if that were available! And for the little file that came with it ... well at first I thought that it was way too small to be useful, and so that didn't look good to me, but I was mistaken. After I had a chance to use it I found that it was just right for what we need to finish off after clipping of the nails since it is has good fineness that will leave the nails smooth without any roughness or curls on them. And the small size will allow it to come along with me in my purse to use whenever I need it!

Handy set of tools

I purchased this to replace my old small nail clipper which was too small and slippery to handle. Every item in this new set is excellent. The nail clipper is of right size and not slippery. The wide mouth clipper is good for clipping my thick toe nails. The side clipper plier is big, so easy to control and use to trim the ingrown for my toe nail. All are made of good quality and nice looking. The product description in the amazon site does not tell there is a nice zipper pouch storing all the items in included. The price is a little bit higher than other similar products but the quality is of top notch.

This set is excellent. Easy to use - even for me with my slightly thicker fingers.

Everything is great. All the tools are handy. One set covers any special pedicure needs, i.e. ingrown nails, elderly feet, hand gripping problems friendly. Very sturdy even after numerous use. Can't imagine how we lived without it.
