Hmmmm...velvet and satin...
These shoes look sharp and are super comfy. I'm on my feet a lot during the day, but the pillows satin interior provides exceptional comfort. They are a bit larger across the width than other velvet slipper style loafers I've purchased. They look absolutely sharp on, whether dressing up jeans and a blazer or complementing a suit. I'd buy again. , which for shoes is high praise indeed. I've only one other velvet loafers I'd replace with itself.

The does run a little bit big
Great product. The shoes run a little bit big in sizes. I ware a size 10 in mens, 9.5 would have been a good idea.

A great white elephant gift, but surprisingly well appointed
I grabbed a pair of these as a white elephant gift for my bozo brother who is the only one I know with the moxie to actually wear them. And of course, he loves them and is wearing them everywhere. But all joking aside, you can see what these look like in the photos-- if they are your style, then they are very nice. The interior has a quilted velvet finish, the sole is engraved leather, and they came in true to size in size 10. I was worried the toe box would be too narrow, but despite the metal fixture at the tip, there's a significant amount of room in there.

Very cool shoes
My husband loves unique shoes for formal events and these were no exception. They look just as pictured and fit him as expected. No complaints and he said he would recommend.

Watch Your Step
i keenly recall a very popular song that used to play on rotation with a lot of radio stations across the country called "hot stepper", which was a reggae swing beat song to get people out on the dance floor.Well when I seen these shoes, that's the specific song that popped right into my head, and I felt the nostalgia calling me back to my more youthful days and times of old. Of course with that in mind, I just had to have these shoes.Well when I received them, the first thing that popped out immediately, was the quality of the shoe box. it felt leatherish in nature, and gave great anticipation to the the high quality of the shoes inside. When opened the box, and carefully unwrapped the shoes from their contained, and well nestled resting point, I was very pleased to find that these shoes were beyond compare to other shoes I had in my closet. The bottom of the shoes are red, with a distinct pattern carved into them, that tells the tale of the cobblers vision for these quite interesting and drawn in shoes. If there was one thing I would perhaps change is the loud orange emblem that is encrusted on the frontal suede, which was my only reason for giving these a 4-Star rating over a confirmed 5-Star rating with great hesitation and debate as to the overall deserving nature of these shoes to reach that five star emblazoned moniker for this product. If it wasn't for the distraction caused by the frontal design of these shoes, they would be better deserving of a five, star rating. But with the coloration of the emblem, it limits the wearer to only a specific colored ensemble, and takes away from the versatility of use of these awesome shoes.
