Great colonial period design. Great for school plays, Halloween costumes. Material is lightweight.

Honestly ordered this last minute for a child’s play and had basement level expectations. As a seamstress the price and scale of the garment was highly suspect. I was pleasantly surprised! It’s not historical costumer quality, but the material is thick and handles alterations well. I would buy similar again!

It was what I expected quality-wise, cheap costume material but worked well for my Elizabeth Swann costume. The biggest challenge for me was that the waist was too big even when fully cinched and the arms were to small so I ended out doing a lot of alterations. I also lowered the neckline but if you do that, just know that all of the buttons are tied to a single thread so if you lose one, you’ll lose them all. Luckily I noticed before anything catastrophic happened.

My 9-year-old daughter had a Hamilton-themed Birthday party. So me and my 3 daughters all ordered costumes, and this is the one I got for me to wear.The dress did not come with anything to floof the skirt out, so once I received the dress, I ordered a bustle to make the hips stick out. It doesn’t look right without it. Otherwise, I love it, and it fit as expected!

The dress is fine. A chintzy, thin polyester fabric that is synonymous with costumes. The only problem I have is with the tag saying it’s “100% cotton.” Not sure why in the world they would bother with printing something that is completely and utterly false. Also, too expensive for the quality but that’s the same for all Halloween costumes.

Look, if you need a costume in a pinch, it will work, but this is not well constructed and the fit in the shoulders is very tight, you won’t be able to raise your arms. I even ordered a size larger just to be safe, and I’m really glad I did! If you just need to stand in this costume for the look, it’s fine, if you expect to move around, then no.

Our dress showed up without the ribbon to lace up the back of the dress (the product images show matching ribbon for the back should be included), so now I have to try to find something that will work so the dress doesn't hang open. Overall, the dress looks so flimsy and cheap. Definitely not worth $50, but I was running out of time and places to look. So disappointed.

This dress looks great online, with lots of fabric in the skirt. But, it showed up folded up into a tiny bag. I thought at first they sent me a girls' size, not a woman's. But alas, it was the correct size. There is no room for hip pads or and type of underskirt to give it some fluff. The only reason I'm even keeping this atrocity and not getting my money back is because my daughter wants to be the Schuyler sisters together. FInd another option.
