Mens Outdoor Softshell Trousers Polar Fleece Transparent Waterproof Membrane

So I bought these last year for a walking holiday in Cumbria, at the time of booking it was cold and damp but sod's law when I arrived there was a little heatwave. walking around in these above 10C and you find you will sweat but below this and they are perfect in everyway, they are a great fit and very easy to wear unlike others I have but these are not waterproof....shower resistant yes but not waterproof but saying that when I did get soaked I was still warm and they dry in a flash. I have worn these trousers daily walking the dog through wind rain and now snow and they are still in great shape, they wash well and virtually windproof so perfect for my intended use. £30 for these is a great price as I said I wear them 4/5 days a week for a hour or more and have held up well with the smallest sign of wear at the knees. Buy with confidence

Great for hiking or hunting Only issue I have with them is the bottom of them are too tight and you have to put them inside your boots But very water resistant and wind proof

I bought these trousers for photography outdoors. I have two collapsed arteries in my leg which effects body temperature so if I’m cold not only is it uncomfortable but it’s painful. Within a few minutes of wearing these trousers not only was I warm but was sweating which felt weird because they are really lightweight ( I was indoors though doing housework) they are loose but not baggy, they look and feel well made Aside from that I can’t find anything to moan about. Even the price was cheaper than most for similar features so it’s 5 stars from me. I will be testing them on a photo shoot on Christmas Day so if any problems arise from that I will add them later

Bottom line - these trousers are great. I was a little skeptical when I saw the price and was half expecting basic quality, however, I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly the trousers fitted me perfectly. The Asian sizing can be very difficult to get right, they often recommend ordering 2 sizes up. I'm a 31/32 inch waist with a regular leg, which according to the size chart, was a medium. Some reviewers had said that they had ordered the large size for a 32 inch waist, and they were fine, but they were all much taller than me! So I went for the medium, and they are a perfect fit. The quality is excellent, and the fleece lining really adds to the comfort. I wore them on a relatively hot day on a hike and I didn't overheat - the breathability seemed to be working. I got them wet and I stayed dry. With trousers like this costing upwards of £150 for a brand name, these represent fantastic value.

Very warm and comfy, just follow the advice of others in look at the items size guide and then go up one. I'm a 34 to 35 inch waist and the 3xl fits great without being tight fitting. Legs are quite long... 33 inch I guess and a little tapered. But comfy. Not tried to see if they are shower proof or not

I bought these mostly as an experiment, however I was surprised by the quality. I took them on a recent (Winter) mountaineering expedition in the arctic, and they held up incredibly well. Note that they are not very waterproof (sitting on the snow for 20 mins would usually result in some water getting in...) but my legs stayed dry when it was snowing. What was incredible was they insulation and windproofing - despite freezing conditions I didn't even need thermals. After the trip the trousers look hardly used. I will definitely take them away again. As a side note, they have a very nice fit/cut and could be worn anywhere.

A decent pair of walking trousers for the price. They look really good, comfy, fit well. The buckle design for the waist faster is a little odd. A simple button fastening would be better and there’s not much flexibility in the trousers. Apart from that, definitely worth £30.

Not giving any stars or making any final opinions but I am a size 34 and got a 2Xl so definitely buy a size up from normal. I have not tested them in any proper weather conditions apart from a mild UK cycle to co op but they are very warm! I will say that! One thing I will say is the zippers feel a bit small and flimsy. They haven’t broke or anything but I will be being careful with them. I will be back after some more testing. 1 WEEK UPDATE!! Zips still work and tried in light-mid rain and it’s held up well. Kept me warm and dry every time. Would recommend! 2 MONTH UPDATE!! Everything still works. Tried and tested with no complaints. Very cozy and warm. 100% wind proof and they do hold up very well in wet weather. If it’s torrential downpour non stop then yes....they will eventually get wet like all pants. But out of all my pairs of trousers these are by far my warmest and most element resistant. My girlfriend tells me off for wearing them too much 😂

They are great pants. Im normally a size 30 and the extra large fits great. They kept me warm in iceland and were very sturdy. The only thing is they are NOT waterproof, but they are water resistant and quick drying which worked really well.
