Hopefully this review will be helpful to someone else in my situation. I recently had LAZIK eye surgery and as LASIK is intended, it only corrects your far vision. 3 weeks after surgery I found myself needing readers to see up close. It was bothersome to constantly take on and off the readers every time I wanted to check a text message, look away from my computer screen, etc. I bought an expensive pair of Burberry progressive readers from Readinghlasses.com, but the reader part of the lens was so low and so small that I still couldn’t read print unless I tilted my head back in an uncomfortable position. I purchased these progressive computer readers in a 1 power and they are exactly what I needed. I will probably need to order a +1.5 in a few months, but the +1 works fine for now. I was a +3 prior to surgery. The lens do have a glare, but it doesn’t bother me that much and I am just grateful I found a pair of glasses that work. The metal frame is a black matte color and the glasses are extremely light weight. I will definitely purchase again if I need to.

I have been experimenting with different readers to use at my computer, where I need just a little magnification to read small text. I wear progressive lenses in my regular glasses, but I don't usually wear those glasses all the time because I don't need the nearsightedness correction when I'm just at home or in my home office. I decided to try these in a lower magnification (+1.0) to see if they would work with the distance between where I sit and the computer screen. They are perfect. They add the blue light protection, which is nice, but more importantly the middle (transition part) of the lenses seems to be my sweet spot for reading the computer screen. They are good quality frames, metal and shiny in the front. Pretty cute style. They have nose pads like real glasses, and the hinges flex, so they are comfortable to wear. They are lightweight. The only thing I didn't love is that the color is not as described. I ordered "black and red," and the red pair is actually purple. Not my favorite color, but I don't really care that much since I'll be wearing these in my home office. You get two pairs of glasses, two simple soft slip cases, two glasses lanyards, and one cleaning cloth. I feel like these glasses are a good value for the quality!

First of all, I wanna say how incredibly flattering the shape of these glasses is. I feel that they would flatter most any face as they are the perfect in between in terms of size and shape. They are also comfortable to have on because the materials used a very lightweight. Next thing I noticed with these glasses is that the lens has a slight yellowish tint. I can’t necessarily notice it when I’m wearing them but if I put them down on the table, I can clearly see that they are not completely clear, which I found a bit odd. This was when they had had no exposure to UV light, so they should not have been darker. They do have a very nice clear lens with no obvious distortion so big plus in that area. They only worked OK for me. I wore them for several weeks for reading in the evenings and perhaps my eyes just adjust very quickly, but I cannot notice a difference from the top of the lens to the bottom of the ones. So it doesn’t necessarily seem as if they are doing what they say that they should. But for the price overall pretty good.

These readers are lightweight and attractive. They work fairly well. While they are well-made, they are a little expensive versus comparable items. If this is the style you're looking for, though, these would be a good choice overall. The magnification on mine seemed accurate and the blue blocker coating worked well. I had no issues with headaches due to bright computer screens. Overall, they are a good pair of reading glasses!
