I've gone swimming with, and showered with this watch multiple times over the last 2 years. It's totally fine. I genuinely don't understand why so many people are saying it's not. It is. It has a rating of IP67. "IP67 equipment is the most commonly found in the connectivity market. It is 100% protected against solid objects like dust and sand, and it has been tested to work for at least 30 minutes while under 15cm to 1m of water." The rating system is set up as IP (1-6: rating of protection against solid objects, ie dust) (1-8: rating of protection against liquids). So it's almost as waterproof as possible, being IP67, and should work completely fine as long as you're not diving.
