Splits stereo signal fine, just be aware that it will half the volume on the outputs - which is fine, that's just how electricity works.

Used these to split two guitar inputs into one amp to teach my son guitar. Works better than expected as often splitting a guitar signal can be an issue but these seemed to work fine.

This worked for a short while but then started losing sound in one device

Perfect for splitting the general aviation headset cable and putting it into an external microphone recorder. Cable doesn’t seem the stronger but should hold up fine.

I bought this because I wanted two stereo headphone outputs for an audio interface connected to a laptop. Works well!

It's a simple adapter, it does what I needed it to do and it was very affordable. Using this for my at home attempts at recording guitar. Out from my pedal board, and into two separate amps. Microphone set up by the recording amp, far enough away that the picking sounds won't be in the recording, and another as a monitor amp by my computer. I mean it's not the most professional set up but it's a lot closer to it than using the headphone input/line out on a practice amp, which often mutes the amp speaker when in use, and that just won't do if you don't have a flawless zero latency setup to monitor that input from, and if you're using a practice amp for recording it's safe to say you probably don't have a zero latency recording setup. TL;DR: if you got 2 guitar amps, a microphone, and are poor or still a kid, then you can use this adapter to rig a sort of "pseudo studio" to record things a little more like the pros do.
