Like I mention above, inserts are very hard to put on rod tip and than pull out.There is some degree of breaking rod tip. That is the main con.Other than that item works fine forLake white fish detecting bite.

These do a great job, the line threader though does not fit through the bead on the end.

When jigging for panfish, especially when ice fishing, they can be very timid biting so this spring bobber gives you that edge even on a stiffer jigging pole. It mounted easy to the pole and stayed in place well.

Seems like a durable spring that will last awhile even after being bent a little with storage of poles. The issue I had from the start is the hole opening/channel for the line to go through is very small. A slip bobber tie (if using in combo or if leaving tie on line) will not fit through this. Also the smallest bit of ice on your line will get caught up when reeling in. I was using 10lb ice braid. Maybe 5lb mono would be better with this spring bobber.

Broke the tip of my ice rod, but the bobber lives on to fish another day

These are perfect for icefishing! A must have for sure!

Seems well constructed, but didn't fit the end if my ice fishing rod.

The threading tool, out of the box, did not fit through the supplied spring bobbers! I had to use pliars to make the end small enough to fit. I put one of the spring bobbers in a rod and it was so tight that line would not move through it. I understand that rod ends/string guides come in different sizes but not a good start. It fit in another rod.
