Waffles everything the package said is true
This waffle maker makes awesome big waffles. Very easy to use and very easy to clean. It’s so unique and small. It’s very easy to store away and the heat level is perfect. It was good value for the money.

It waffles the waffles just the way a waffler should
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Odd gift for a teen to want but, whatever's clever. Cleanup is easy and the drip tray is a nice touch. It does have a smell the first use but it does soon go away. Hoping we can use this for years to come!

Very good waffle maker for the cost
For $35 this waffle iron is very good. I had an older square waffle iron, but wanted a rounded Belgian style (deeper holes and ridges) one, and did some research and settled on this model. It came a few days ago, and I've made waffles in it twice. Both times they turned out great, with no sticking (I used a bit of cooking spray) and they were done perfectly. I turned the setting up to the highest level and cooked each waffle for 4 minutes. Some people complain about the lights, they are not to tell when a waffle is done, instead they turn green just to let you know that the empty waffle maker is pre-heated and ready for the batter. Pouring it in (make it thicker than pancake batter, for better waffles), flipping it, then wait 4 minutes, flip it back, open and remove with a spatula and you'll have a good waffle. You can also use a toaster or regular oven on 200 to put waffles in to keep warm and make them crisper while you make larger batches for a crowd. This is not a heavy-duty waffle iron, nor does it have removable grates, but for the cost, it is very good and does the job.

Great easy to use
Amazing product great price. There’s only one problem. I can’t stop my daughter from asking to make some every week. It will be nice if you had a sound when they’re done but I figure out seven minutes is a perfect time.

Quality Product!
I bought this waffle maker for my son and his family. They absolutely love it! They said they use it just about everyday. It is the perfect size and also has a timer to let you know it’s ready! I love that it’s nonstick and it’s even more safe with the handle to flip it than having to get close to the heat on the plate. It’s great and makes the best waffles!

The READY light does not mean the waffle is ready
We bought this and have been using it for a bout a month. It makes a pretty decent waffle, but this appliance is more complex than it needs to be. Most waffle irons have a set temperature. You plug it in, and when it is heating up to the set point, a light comes on. When the iron is "hot", the light goes out. When you pour in batter, the iron cools off, so the light comes on again. This is NOT how the Chefman works. For some reason, it has a power light that stays on all the time to let you know it is plugged in, as if you weren't smart enough to know that. There is also a temperature control and a green READY light. Unlike most waffle irons, this light comes ON when the iron is HOT. So, the READY light does not mean that the waffle is ready, only that the temperature set point has been reached (where the light on most irons goes off, as noted above). You still need to figure out how much time it will take for the waffle to get done to the crispness you like. We have the controller set about 75%, use Bisquick according to the box recipe, and get a nicely golden waffle in about 4 minutes. Set the temperature control lower, it will take longer. Set it higher, it will take less time. Interestingly, the lights are on the waffle iron, NOT on the stand, so when you rotate the iron 180 degrees, the lights are facing down. Fortunately, there is another READY light on the underside of the iron, but, again, this light is only tells you when the iron is no longer heating, not when your waffle is ready. The stainless shell of the unit is very thin, and the stand is not solid plastic so you need to be careful not to turn the whole iron over when you rotate it 180 degrees due to its very light construction. The plastic drip plate is barely large enough to catch any batter that overflows, and there is no groove notch to mount the plate vertically when the iron is not in use. This is especially true since it necessary to press down on the handle slightly to rotate the iron, a detail which is not included in the instructions. The instructions also do not tell you to rotate the iron after you pour in the batter, however, since you bought a rotating iron, it should go without saying that you need to flip it after you pour n the batter. Also makes about a 9-inch and not a 12-inch waffle. Again, why a temperature control and 3 lights when one light on the sand that would go out to let you know the iron is hot would be sufficient? This money would be better spent on making the whole appliance a little sturdier.

10/10 waffle maker
My waffles turned out amazing from this maker and they came out whole because of the flipping availability from this which I think is amazing it has that so the waffle is nice and full. Although I do recommend spraying with nonstick before every first use when using it because they tend to stick the waffle dough to the waffle maker. But overall recommend 10/10.
