LOVE IT!!!
Wish I had known about this option years ago. I have struggled to find a fitting light bulb that is at least40 watts. Was always looking for at least 60 watts...but it is nowhere to be found! ANNOYING! Not to mention the expense of this size of light bulb in the minimum $4 if you are lucky... I am very grateful for this, now I can finally use any light bulb I want. "Sheds new light on me"!
This adapter is exactly as described. It takes the E17 socket and makes it where you can use a regular Light bulb. It is Great. Well worth the few dollars it cost. Open the package and screw it in. It saved me from having to replace the light fixture.

solved a problem
I bought a mother daughter torch lamp and did not know that the smaller light takes a smaller base light bulb which is hard to find in a nice led that is not yellow looking, this solved the problem I can use a regular base bulb. It sticks out a little far but it is fine for directing to my sewing machine for more light.
