I got this for my 2012 CR-V and honestly it’s such a great upgrade. It made my car feel way more modern without spending a lot. Setup was pretty easy, I’m not super techy but I had it working in no time. The screen is a really nice size and super clear. I mainly use the wireless CarPlay and it connects fast every time I start the car. I also like the built-in dash cam, the video quality looks really good and it’s nice having that extra safety feature. The backup camera is a big help too, especially when parking in tight spots. Sound through Bluetooth is clear and no issues so far. Everything just works smoothly. If you have an older car like mine, this is definitely worth it.

5/7/26 Update: Returned the defected carplay screen and ordered a replacement. The new one works well for 5 months and I thought I got a good one this time. Then it started to disconnect from the cell phone. It is clearly this wireless portable carplay screen can't even survive the "spring" sun in the Mid-Atlantic region. Right now only the dashcam function still works. The navigation would only work for the first few minutes and even shorter during noon time. It will try to reconnect and disconnect several times til it cease trying. It will lost both Bluetooth and wifi connection to the phone. Since it is long pass the return windows. May be it is time to store it somewhere until winter comes again. Previous Review: I've used this wireless portable screen for nearly 10 days and can't continue; I have to return it. Here are the main reasons: 1. Unreliable Connection and Screen Issues: After a few days of smooth operation, the device began to suddenly lose its connection to my cell phone, displaying a worrying red screen. The frequency of this red screen has been steadily increasing. 2. Navigation Interruption: The navigation screen will suddenly disappear while I'm relying on its guidance. This is dangerous for a driver who is actively using the directions. 3. Ineffective Auto Dimming (Safety Hazard): As many customers have noted, the auto dimming function is deeply flawed. It only reduces brightness by an estimated 30% at most. The screen remains too bright at night, negatively affecting the driver's ability to clearly see the road, which poses a safety risk. Even setting the brightness to 0% makes no difference, as it automatically reverts to a minimum of 10% and no real change in brightness. The good things about this device: Good Size: The unit's size is appropriate and does not obstruct the driver's view. Easy Setup: It was easy to install and connect. User Experience: The user interface is relatively straightforward to use. Display Quality: The screen resolution is satisfactory.

I purchased this screen for my '97 Chevy Corvette, and I couldn’t be happier! Setting it up was a breeze. Installed into a 2013 Subaru Impreza. Yes, I had to remove panels, route wires, cut and solder wires together to extend the reverse detection wire and drill a small hole for the camera wire. I do like having a big screen, so that is a plus. Android auto works well, since that is what I use. It saved me a lot of money and time buying this as opposed to having the stock radio replaced with a modern touchscreen. Three issues, first one, sometimes the unit does not recognize that the car has been put in reverse and the backup camera does not display. I then put it in either neutral or park then back into reverse and mostly, it works after that. I can see the reverse lights are on, so I am not sure what is happening. The second issue, and I don't know how to fix this, is the backup camera view. I can set it so that it reads correctly from the screen, but then traffic moves in the opposite direction or I can set the camera so that what I see is reversed (signs, license plates) but traffic correctly moves behind the car. I guess as long as you know that there is something behind you, that is what matters. My last issue and I did not think about this until after I started using the screen, I really would like a light sensor on the unit to automatically adjust the brightness, like my cell phone does. Yes, it has the automatic dimming but only for set times, not a continuous adjustment. So far, after a few weeks of using it, it isn't too bad.

This CarPlay screen works really well. Setup was quick and it connected to my phone without any issues. The screen is clear and very responsive and I like that I can use maps, music, and calls easily while driving. It’s a nice upgrade without having to change the whole car system. Definitely worth it would give it a 10 out of 10 for sure my kids love watching there movies with the mirror link compatibility.

failed to work with ios 26.4.1 the map no longer shows on screen - i factory reset it and have the same issue even though it connects to blutooth and wifi so i assuming the ios update has something to do with it and there is NO support for this item or firmware updates

First of all, I am very happy with the product. The screen is absolutely brilliant. Clear and bright even with sunlight directly on it, but suitably dim at nighttime with black blacks. It is responsive and the touch sensitivity is good, and works with thinner gloves. The front and rear camera images are incredibly bright and detailed. I am using this unit on a 2010 Toyota Matrix, an older car that did not have a backup camera or bluetooth and no smartphone integration. This screen unit fits perfectly above the center dash, and the wiring of the backup camera was easy. I was able to find a Youtube instruction video that matched my car's rear interior and wiring layout. This unit has addressed the biggest shortcomings of this older car, and best of all, it includes a fast charging outlet for your smartphone. I am using it with Android Auto and it works better than I could hope for. I was nervous about the screen shape being so wide, but Android Auto uses this screen effectively, and actually gives a better layout than on my 2021 Nissan. I expect that the CarPlay will work just as well. Wireless Android Auto is a huge convenience. My phone connects within seconds and with a long range. My unit had an issue which was promptly handled by the customer service. The representative on the WhatsApp support line was very responsive (allowing for the Asian time zone) and used flawless English. They walked me through my issue, asked questions and offered videos, then shipped a replacement item from Asia to Canada in 2 days at no charge to me. The replacement works perfectly. This is top-notch customer service. I recommend this product with no hesitation.

It all started out like a success story. Installed the screen last night, paired with my iPhone, done! Everything working like a charm, right off the bat! The suction cup had a grip harder than the devil, which I found out when I went to reposition it by a bit. Today, the skies were clear, my was truck parked in front of the garage, slowly baking away in the sun. Later in the afternoon, when I came to install the rear-view camera, my screen was lying limp on the dash like someone had just strangled it. As I found out, the plastic around the suction cup had shrunk and deformed in the heat, and it had lost its grip. The first picture shows the suction cup relaxed (last night, the black rim and the clear suction cup were perfectly aligned in that state), the second picture shows the suction cup "in action" (or rather, missing in action). What's more, the ring screw around the ball in the back of the screen had expanded in the heat, losing its grip, too. I mean, yes, I live in Alberta, but we do have a few hot days during summer nonetheless, and I had the honest intention of using this thing year round. And even if I was prepared to adjust the ring screw, the deformed mount just won't do the job. It's going back - I have no use for such an utterly inferior product. The screen is nice and all, but I need (and want) to use the suction cup mount. I have other suction cup mounts for my phone, and they hold up nicely year round, so I know it can be done. I would give it negative 5 stars if I could - such a disappointment!
